Description of Work: We found Scott anderson design online and we contacted him for a design for our home. We hired him and he spent a lot of time with us preparing a landscape plan for our project. We wanted a new patio with a fire pit and BBQ island we also wanted the yard relandscaped and accent lighting. His plan included all of design elements we were looking for and then he was abel to price it out for us. His price wasn't the cheapest but was the most complete and detailed. So we hired him to build everything. It has been a pleasure to work with him. We are planning to build the pool this year and will definitely use Scott for it. I would definitely recommend him for the design work as well as the construction.

 + -1 moreWe contacted SAD and they promptly responded. A mutual time and date was established and one that was convenient to us - no to the contractor. Availability of the ties has been greatly diminished of late but the contractor assured that he could timely provide of our requirement. Scott provided several landscaping design alternatives. He even offered for us to meet at his provider so that no misunderstandings would occur. Our schedule did not permit that activity. We contracted with Scott Anderson Designs and asked the work to be performed while we celebrated family holiday of two weeks. Upon our return we were very please to see the new landscaping completed and to our compl;ete satisfaction SAD came to ujs based upon a recommendation from another satisfied customer. The owner began landscaping while still in secondary school, continued with his higher education and enjoys a well deserved, positive reputation. Much of my professional career has involed dealing with contractors and as such I tend to be much more discriminating and demanding than the average homeowner. Sad is one provider with whom I have no negative comments and would highly recommend them for any landscaping work.
Description of Work: Removal and replacement of wooden railroad ties along drive and growing areas. In addition our front yard was sorely in need of a new look.

He gave me several options for what I was looking to have done, and even broke out the job into discrete pieces so that I could pick and choose. Overall, a very reliable and easy contractor to work with.
Description of Work: I had Scott and team do a bunch of landscaping around my house in Lido Beach this summer. It was a pretty big job: removal of a bunch of trees/shrubs/weeds/poison ivy/etc. Then planting 20 or so native plants around the yard. It looks really great, and Scott's team came in and did the job on schedule, and the entire thing only took a day and half. I asked a few follow-up questions since then, and I always received prompt and helpful replies. I'd definitely use him again.

 + -1 moreLike most residents on Long Island, after Sandy hit I had a huge tree that had fallen down in my backyard. I contacted about 6 different tree service/landscaping companies, none of which were getting back to me or telling me it would take weeks for them to get there. In the end, it was Scott who took complete care of me and my family. He came on a weekday evening to look at the tree that had fallen and assessed the situation. He came back the next morning to cut it down and remove it from the house, all doing so without any problems or damaging any part of my house or property. His communication skills were efficient and professional, and his price was the most reasonable. I would absolutely use Scott's services again and would recommend him to anyone in need of the same in a heartbeat.

He sat down with me to discuss ideas for what I wanted to do in my backyard. Scott created a couple of design drawings for me to choose from, that would best fit my needs. He worked within my budget, and gave my backyard a whole new professional look that I was going for. I am going to use him in the future, and I suggest you do to!
Description of Work: Scott Anderson has helped me turn my overgrown with vegitation backyard, into a neat beautiful professional landscape paradise. I get so many compliments when I have company over, about my backyard and it's plantings.

Description of Work: We were hired by the owner to build a deck and a patio and needed to come up with a plan for the backyard for the owner. We used Scotts services in the past and thought he would be a good match. We hired him to give us and the owner design sketchs of the backyard. He gave us multiple ideas of how we could layout the dek pool and patio. We the pecked a design we liked and he prepared a final landscape plan that included all the dimensions materials and plants. We then also hired him for the landscaping of the project. His price was reasonable and he piked all beautiful flowers and trees to go along with the new deck and patio. Scott was always a phone call away went myself or the customer needed him. As a professional myself it always make it easy for us when you work with someone as professional. Scott design made me look good too.
