Love love love OZ!! Uzi told me "we are on time every time, because our teams do all the work, we make our own cabinets (so in charge of our own supply chain), and I commit to our clients months out-we have to be on-time 100% of the time!" I took the leap and OZ did an amazing, professional, caring job with my kitchen during difficult times (pandemic)! Even with my old house having surprises – they were finished ahead of schedule! My awesome PM Mike and the team communicated with me every day, were thoughtful, put care, pride and dedication into every single step of the project. Every single day, the team cleaned the entire workspace and every day, there was no dumpster sitting outside my house and the same team showed up, on schedule – no surprises, every day. Mike would say “are you happy? I want you to be happy” and I’d consistently be answering “Yes”. If I had questions or when something about my house meant extra work, he’d say “you know there is no option but to be on time, we will get it done!”. I would work with no one else, and cannot recommend OZ enough! Even in the details, the team treated my back-splash like a work of art. Insured every aspect of my cabinets, lighting, flooring, to door handles, to dimmer switches were each perfect. I have had other work done in my home before I found OZ and was nervous b/c of many issues experienced in the other project. There is no comparison to the value of having a dedicated team focused on a project! Especially with the level of professionalism OZ brings, every single day to ensure the project is done right and with pride, as if it we were part of their own family. My next dream would be if I could have an entire house built by OZ! Maybe one day!

The experience of having our kitchen renovated during the last several months has been incredibly pleasant. OZ general Contracting Inc. turned our anxiety from the beginning into complete confidence in their professionalism. During the preparation stage, the owner Mr. Uzi Ovadia and his color and material designer spent 4 sessions for a total of 8 hours with us on styling design and material selections to fully prepare us for the project. There were three teams of workers, each with a different expertise. After the first week of the 9- week project, they had earned my trust with their attention to detail and craftsmanship. In addition, OZ assigned a project manager, Mr. Mike Ovadia, to supervise and ensure all work was done correctly. Mike’s sincerity and dedication was beyond words. He guided us through unexpected issues and solved them to my satisfaction. His first question each day was: “Do you have any questions?” By the fifth week, my response was ”No questions Mike, only compliments." My wife and I are not the only ones who were impressed. Our friends who came to see the new kitchen all wanted to know who did this wonderful job. One of them commented “I have never heard of anyone who was 100% satisfied with the work.” Eric Chou

We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. From start to finish , the experience was wonderful. From Uzi, the owner to Lori, the designer, Mike ,the project manager to Cesar and his crew. All were very accommodating and professional throughout the entire process. We were initially given a 5 week estimation in time to complete the project. We were amazed how smoothly all aspects of the job was going . From demo to the end . Our kitchen was actually 90% finished in about 3 weeks! Supply chain issues were minimal. All material suppliers were right on schedule. We have hired many contractors in past years, we have to say OZ was the best of the best! We would definitely hire them in the future and highly recommend them s well

It went very well. The workers were polite, punctual and professional. They had a good team and worked well to get the job done. We were pleased with the job.

I cannot say enough good things about Oz General Contracting. Before I describe our most recent experience using Oz, let me share that we have happily used them many times over the past 25 years for work ranging from major construction projects (building an extension to add a Master bathroom and replacing collapsed sewer lines under the house) to major renovation projects (remodeling multiple bathrooms and a kitchen). Uzi and Mike have always made themselves available to answer all questions about our projects (before, during and after) and Mike easily puts your mind at ease knowing that he will ensure that any unplanned “surprises” that can occasionally crop up during any construction project will be resolved quickly and correctly. Our satisfaction with their work quality is clearly demonstrated by our repeat hiring of Oz General Contracting to complete our numerous projects over the years. I can go on and on about the high quality of their work, their employment of professional and courteous work crews, their impeccable daily cleanup of the worksite, and their strict adherence to project schedules. You are never stranded mid-project wondering if/when they will show up next as we have heard can be the case with other contractors who juggle multiple projects. I cannot emphasize enough that customer satisfaction epitomizes their company ethos and is not being hyped insincerely as a marketing slogan. However, what is most outstanding (and I think unmatched in the industry) is how well they stand behind their work product long past project completion. Oz General Contracting most recently fixed an issue we had on a 20 plus year-old project caused by recent ground settling. With Oz, the old adage “you get what you pay for” can be changed to “you get more than you pay for.” Bottom line … my wife and I couldn’t be more pleased to highly recommend that you use Oz General Contracting for all your general contracting needs.

We could not be happier with the work done by OZ. We’ve done countless home renovations over the years and the level of professionalism, attention to detail and attentiveness we got from OZ were unmatched. The design that was done by Uzi (owner) and Lori (designer) was an easy, flexible, and enjoyable process. The level of customer service we received from Mike (the PM) was something we never before experienced. To call him just a project manager is a vast understatement. He checked in nearly every day to keep us abreast of the project status and showed us in detail what work was happening and why. When we had design decisions his considerable experience was invaluable. When the team was shorthanded due to Covid, he put on kneepads and did the work to keep them on track. He never forgot a single item that we discussed and made it unnecessary for us to keep our own punch list. All of this is great but what matters most is the final product and this is where OZ shined. Caesar (crew leader) and his team had impeccable attention to detail and never took a single shortcut. They completely redesigned our kitchen, updated our den, built us a new custom fireplace, installed several new windows and replaced nearly half of the floors in our house. Several months later it is still impossible to find any issues. Everyone who came to our house was polite, professional, and patient with our questions. As far as we could tell they all worked for OZ and none were subcontractors. The cabinets are built here on Long Island by folks who support families on the Island. When they did hit installation issues, the cabinet builders themselves came to the house to resolve them! When friends come over to check out the work, they are consistently amazed and can’t stop complimenting the project. Anyone who has done even a few home projects will realize how rare this all is. We’ll never do another remodel with anyone but OZ. Great work guys!!

We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Oz has done for us. They are truly professionals, and their workmanship is outstanding. Our only regret is that we did not find them sooner. Uzi and Mike were helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and always available. They were consistently willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Our kitchen looks beautiful!! They helped us to customize it to exactly how we wanted it. Jose and his crew were fantastic. They were very professional, and their work was excellent. In 2013, I hired OZ to perform gut renovations and remodeling of my kitchen and one bathroom. In the interim years, true to their word, they responded quickly and efficiently to some small requests. In 2020, I called on them to redo a second bathroom in my home. As before, the planning and pricing was clear from the first day, and the project was completed in the first week of January 2021, start to finish, with the work done to perfection. I will certainly use them again when it is time for the next reno project.

Went excellent very happy with the work. Great from beginning to end. Loved how they provided a itemized bill. Everything was very clear. Our project manager was kind and patient. Any corrections or touch ups we're done without pulling teeth. Got the work done I think 3yrs ago and their work is still holding up strong! Would highly recommend. We are going back to them to renovate our 2nd floor and basement. Very happy customer!

Oz Construction completed a kitchen renovation for us back in February of 2017. We did our homework and we were genuinely impressed with the reviews and workmanship completed for other clients. Prior to the start, a complete computerized rendition of our “kitchen to be” was provided by Oz. It was nice to imagine what our kitchen would look like upon completion. We met with their in house designer who literally sat with us and helped us pick out everything from the floors, tiles and cabinetry- a daunting task made a lot easier. We made a lot of changes to the space including removing walls, and locations of appliances. Despite the amount of work, they put us down on their schedule for 4 weeks. Four weeks later to the day we were done. From day 1, their workers were friendly, hard working, and respectful. Never did they leave a mess. They cleaned up each day before leaving. The kitchen came out looking like a magazine cover. I was and still am tremendously impressed with how well our kitchen came out. All of our friends and family have always been amazed at the quality of work they did. Fast forward to today, and our home is in contract. I never thought we’d sell our home, but we did. Every perspective buyer who came into our home was instantly wowed by our kitchen. There’s no doubt whatsoever that our kitchen sold our home in just a couple of weeks. A gigantic thank you to both Uzi, Mike and their workers for a magnificent job. I’m planning on doing some work on my new house and there is no other company that I can imagine asking to do the job. OZ Contracting is absolutely a excellent contractor to choose for a new kitchen renovation. My wife and I had our entire kitchen totally redone, including the removal of a baring wall, and installation of a new window. We could not be more happy with the quality, professionalism, courteousness, attention to detail and overall high quality workmanship Uzi's team provided. The crew showed up promptly every day for 4 1/2 weeks, and were even able to finish the job 1 week early. The team cleaned up nightly, and Mike the project manager oversaw the progress daily to ensure everything was perfect as promised. The new cabinets along with new porcelain floors in my kitchen, dining room, and den, an "L" shaped island with quartz countertop, and all plumbing, electrical, tile work, and appliances were installed and finished expertly to our extreme pleasure. We would highly recommend OZ Contracting for any project. Uzi, Mike, Lori and the crew are simply terrific and a pleasure to deal with during planning through implementation and provided the guidance necessary to ensure a successful project even better than as we had envisioned. Oz’s people were professional, pleasant, very accommodating and cleaned up before leaving each day. We ran into more work when the bathroom shower and tub area wall was rotted away due to years of water damage. They replaced the studs and put up a new wall. Our bathroom is beautiful and best of all they finished earlier then stated.

We have had much experience with contractors and room upgrades in the last 25+ years and Oz GC co. was by far the most professional and with beautiful results, exactly as we wished. From the first meeting with Uzi to offer professional insight and design, several meetings with Lori to help us choose specific tiles and all other bathroom features (my husband and I didn't always agree) and working with the general manager David directly on the job, we are super happy with this company and plan to use them again for additional renovations to our home.

They did a fantastic job that exceeded all of our expectations. The crew was neat, polite, and cared about our house and our safety, especially with the coronavirus situation. We have been a client of OZ for almost 20 years. Their extreme professionalism and attention to detail has kept us coming back for every home project we needed done. The craftsmanship of their work is superior and the workers are meticulous and extremely courteous. By far the most impressive thing that puts OZ ahead of others is their reliability and ability to treat their clients as friends. Once again OZ did an outstanding job!! I've been a customer of OZ since I purchased my house back in 1994, and since the first project (bath room) a that time OZ has done ALL of the renovations on my house, including the kitchen, second bath room, windows, custom closet, and rip-out of practically every room in the house with new insulation and sheet rock. The owners and office staff are professional and very easy to work with. They make me feel like a valued customer which hasn't changed after all these years. This extends to the work crews as well, as they too are very professional, courteous and respectful, and consistently strive to please. And at the end of each work day, the crew puts things back in order so that there is no mess and for safety purposes.

My family and I have been members of the OZ Customer Roster since 2014. We have recommended OZ General Contracting Co. Inc. to family, neighbors, co-workers and friends. OZ maintains an extensive showroom with a professional and caring staff. Design teams worked with us in providing recommendations and offering energy efficient solutions. Architectural computer schematics provided us insight to the finished project. OZ renovated our kitchen and two bathroom. The work was meticulous. The work teams were neat, timely, polite, reliable, trustworthy, well-coordinated and masterful at undertaking any and all of our requests. The Foreman and Project Leads were always coordinated and accommodating. We were consistently apprised of developments. No detail was too large, small or insignificant. Everyone was committed to our project and expressed a genuine interest in its outcome. Consignment dates and installations were respected and on schedule. To this day, we consult with Oz for future renovation projects. For us, the end of the project was not, in any way, the end of our relationship.  

We had seen an open house years ago featuring an Oz kitchen and Oz bathrooms. As soon as I saw their work, I knew who I would use to remodel my kitchen and bathrooms. 18 months ago, they gutted and installed my new kitchen and a small bathroom on the main floor. All work was done neatly and on time with excellent craftsmanship. The whole process was great, including the helpful suggestions by the designers in the office. We were not pressured into anything we didn't want. After 18 months of enjoying my new kitchen, I have no complaints. Now I am ready to remodel the upstairs bathrooms, main and master. We just selected all materials and designs, including a major reconstruction of the master bathroom. The work will be done in the coming weeks and I will provide a review of the new work, which I anticipate to be of equally high quality. The people are friendly and flexible which makes the process easier and less stressful. We get so many compliments on the kitchen and powder room from all of our visitors. I can't wait to see the new bathrooms!

I have been working with Oz General contracting for the last 15 years. Both Mike and Uzi are professional, on point, and deliver on what they promise. Having had work done in my house prior to Oz I fell victim to a bad contractor. Mike and Uzi completely changed my outlook on trusting people in their trade. In addition. Mike has become one of my closest friends and confidants. You can expect the following - Pricing that meets the quality of work that you get, Workers that are expert tradesmen that are extremely pleasant to be around, top end work with quality products, Clean Clean Clean work environment, and a staff that helps you without any complaints. Years after my kitchen has been done (15 years).. There has not been one thing that has had to be repaired or addressed.. Mike and his team are always there when I need something or someone else fails to meet their level of work and commitment. it is always reassuring that when a project needs to be done that I can count on them to do it. Having gone through the pain prior to meeting them it is worth every extra cent to hire them.. If not you will only have to pay twice to have suboptimal work redone in the future.

The price (unless I added more than was agreed upon) came out to the dollar. The work was excellent and very professional. The time frame given was exact to the day. The end result met all my expectations.

We are very appreciative of Dominic's team for the excellent job done on the renovation of our only bathroom. From the lead-man on the job who paid attention to every detail that we requested, to Carlos the tile man who did precise and unique work, and the rest of the 5-men team who worked seamlessly together, each man knew his job and followed through on it. What can I say? First of all, The entire staff from the owners to the office staff ,the designer as well as the workers are the nicest, most helpful people, I was very anxious about this project largely because I had 4 dogs to deal with during the 8 weeks as well as working at home.I am also not very good at picking out what I like and putting ideas together. Mr Ovadia put an amazing design together for me to optimize the space in my home. He also gave me 3 options to choose as a choice to fit my budget. Next his designer Lori helped me pick out everything to help me make my home beautiful which to me took a good amount of stress out of this project. David my project manager made sure that my work space was protected at all times from the dust so I was able to work. All of the workers were so kind to my dogs and everyone worked with me to allow time for my dogs to go outside. I couldn't be happier with the end results. They started when they said they would and completed the project on time despite the changes I made. They are honest reliable family people. They stand by their work. When you call them they answer their phones. This is the third and largest project I have hired them for. I would never use anyone else. Their prices are fair and competitive.
