As a landlord I wanted the the outlets in my tenants apartment fixed. I was told they would charge 69. 99 to come out and check what the problem was. On getting there, my tenant told me they want him to sign a paper for the 69.99. After they finished these so called criminals sent me a bill of $298. 00 just to tell me my outlet wasn’t working. I mean that was the reason I called them. I don’t know why they charged my tenant, I called them for the job and they were supposed to be dealing with me not the tenants. I do not know how they manipulated the tenant. After that they sent me an estimate totaling $1000.00 . Duffy contracts the job to another contractor. So I was basically dealing with two companies. He now said he would take $200 from the charge. Pls Beware people, this people have a software that updates the price. The next time I clicked on the link, the estimate has jumped from $1000 to $1298. They are criminals, pls beware. I called you for a job not my tenant, if you have any business sense u would deal with the landlord not the tenant. I’m just disappointed.

Twice we had an appointment to do the work, and twice they called to cancel ten minutes before arrival time saying they did not have the parts. If they had called the day before it would have been more believable. Honesty and reliability are as important as skill.

It went great The fellas were personable and completed the work promptly. The only criticism I had was they did not wear masks.

The service was prompt and what needed to be completed was done. Also, the amount they charged in my circumstance was fair.

Spoke to Brian on phone who sent Vince out same day. Work was done quickly. Good communication and follow up. Would use again

Duffy responded immediately to an emergency call and sent a technician out within four hours. The technician clearly stated the terms of service and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Charged me less than the estimate because of the quick resolution.

Didn't show up the first day but called and said it was due to an emergency elsewhere, which is fine. Didn't show up, call, explain or apologize for second appointment. We still haven't heard back.

Brian and his crew did an excellent job. Very friendly and professional. They updated my electric panel, sub panel, and 15 or so outlets (including gfi where needed). All his work is up to code. Fair pricing. He and his crew knocked out two days of work in one day. It's hard to find a contractor that you trust to come back. I've hired him twice more since and will hire him again when projects come up. I definitely recommend using Duffy Electric.

At first there was only partial outage, the local guy Mike came to take a look. A confirmation email was sent to me and Brian said the assement would cost $59, which was fair enough. Mike found out that the partial outage can only be fixed on PSEG part, and suggested for me to call. Later, my parent realized that we needed a ceiling light installation which I proceed to ask very nicely for Mike to install. Mike did a very good job with the installation and was clever enough to jump the electricity from one leg to the next. However, in the end during the payment, Mike did not give me the final receipt/paper, just straight up told me a fixed price of $190.19. He also did not email me the receipt either in which I was told by Brian he would. Mike even asked for my email himself. I felt extremely vulnerable in the situation in which of course, I’m not an electrician professional, I wouldn’t know the price. But I’d like to see at least some sort of confirmation instead of being left feeling like I just got ripped off. I was nice enough to give him a nice brown bag of iced cold beer, water bottle and homemade cookies.

They were very good. I was very impressed with their ability to quickly fix the issue. They were very personable.

He did it like it was his own house. He was very careful to not damage the roof shingles and I would highly recommend him. He was neat, his truck was clean and he was a real nice guy. Very professional company.

They were very easy to work with and professional. They returned every call, were there on time and completed the job in the time they said they would.

I called Duffy Electric during off-business hours and Brian returned my call within 20 minutes. He was very professional and informative. We got a quote for the repairs, based on verbal description of the damage along with pictures that I sent him, within 2 hours. 2 other companies that I called did not get back to me until the following week. Repairs were scheduled and completed within 4 days. The electrician who performed the repairs (Mike) was equally professional and courteous. Work was neat and thorough. Excellent company - I would highly recommend.

Everything about the service was awesome from Brian, who set up the appointment(on a Saturday no less), to Mike who performed the work. The job was done in a timely, efficient manner, Mike was a friendly, knowledgable electrician and I would use them again in the future for all my electrical needs, highly recommended, thanks again!

It was very good, because I already had an outside light, he was able to add a double plug insulated outlet right above.

Perfect. Mike and Brian came within one day of our request, thoroughly explained what was involved and performed the service in a timely manner. Brian completed the required form, had it notarized and returned it within one day. Would highly recommend and use Duffy Electric again.

It went well. Upon inspection they needed to reconfigure the electrical according to Town requirements. Overall, it went very well. Just currently waiting on the building inspection. We've passed both the electrical and plumbing inspections. Once the building inspection is passed we will settle up the final bill.
