NYCONN is a family owned and operated company dedicated to meeting the growing security needs of the NY and CT areas. We pride ourselves on having over 100 years of combined experience. Our skilled technology makes it possible to design a specific system for your individual needs without intruding your lifestyle. We offer a wide variety of services for every security need or concern with quality equipment meeting the highest standards. NYCONN offers a varied range of alarm and detection systems for home or business application, which includes a U.L listed 24 hr. central monitoring station. Besides being licensed in New York and Connecticut, we are recognized by major insurance companies and we are listed with Underwriters Laboratories. We are members of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, the New York Burglar and Fire Alarm Association, The Regional Alarm Association, and the National Fire Protection Association. We are also members of CASIA (Connecticut Alarm & Systems Integrator’s Association). Our Technicians are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we always maintain our goal that service is our #1 priority.

Now, alarm companies to me are all pretty general. I think they are all the same. I am not looking to switch alarm companies. Others should know that right away. I will say that if they were to improve on something, they could be more proactive in helping me to turn my alarm off when it is going off and when I have called them via the telephone. Otherwise, I get my bills on time and have no real complaints. They help to protect our home and so they do their job. They also are good about fixing the alarm system at your house if that is ever needed.
Description of Work: They provide us with home alarm service monitoring each month.

IT'S A MOM AND POP OPERATION. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS OKAY. IT WORKS PRETTY WELL, AND IT LOOKS OKAY. THEY WERE THERE WHEN THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE THERE. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONGER THAN EXPECTED. THEY FINISHED THE WORK.

THEY'RE FINE. WE HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM. THEY'RE PRETTY RESPONSIVE. THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY DO IS MINIMAL. THEY'RE GENERALLY ON TIME & THEY GET THE WORK DONE FINE.
