John (the owner) always showed up on time, and was personally involved in the process. He and his crew did the best job that could be done in the very confining crawlspace, and what they did successfully mitigated the problem of moldy odors migrating from the damp crawlspace up into the living space, as we had hoped. In the 2-story apartment that they totally insulated, the results of the insulation process were astounding, even exceeding our expectations in terms of how little heat is now needed to keep the apartment warm and comfortable in cold weather, and also how much cooler and more comfortable it now stays in the summer. They were very responsible about cleanup, and worked in a safe and professional manner. The proposal John had submitted prior to the work being done was clear and specific, and they did everything specified in the proposal. Also, it was a pleasure to deal with Jeanne, the office manager, about details of scheduling, payment, etc. as needed. We would definitely use them again for any future insulation projects.

The owner came to do the estimate and was courteous, pleasent, a true salesman. Everything went downhill after that.

I called Draftless for an estimate for spray foam insulation and ended up leaving a message. They called me back promptly to schedule. On the day of the scheduled appointment however, they never called and never showed up. I have since called twice to inquire about what happened and to reschedule, but have not received a call back over two weeks later. If this is their common business practice, I wouldn't hire them nor would I recommend using their services.

I called to get an estimate on spray-in foam insulation. Their secretary set up an appointment, but the guy was at least an hour late on the day he was scheduled to arrive. I called to find out what was wrong, and he seemed unaware that he had set up a specific time. When he finally arrived, he seemed friendly enough, but when I asked him specific questions, he seemed to want to talk me into doing other very expensive services they provided, and the ballpark estimates he gave for each service seemed off (high) by a factor of 2-3X, based on conversations I have had with other contractors. He looked around, took measurements and left, taking my info and saying he would call back with an estimate in a week or so. It has been over two months, and I still haven't heard back from them. Because I didn't get a good vibe from him, I didn't call to pursue it. Again, personally, the guy seemed very nice; he was lacking in professionalism, though, and I wouldn't feel comfortable hiring him.

They drilled holes every 16 inches on each floor and inserted foam in all the walls, keeping all the plaster intact. Then they sealed it all up and replaced the siding. They closed off in the basement the sill area along the foundation of the house. They sprayed the attic ceiling and walls with a thicker foam.
