Country Willow

I went to Country Willow to buy a farm table -- I had a specific size and 'look' and they had one right on the floor. Even on sale it was expensive for a floor model, I thought, but I loved it so I bought it. Then, I went to see about having wooden shutters installed in my home -- an architect friend recommended it, and we agreed it would look beautiful. When I told the woman in the window covering department what I wanted, she said, "no you don't" and proceeded to try and sell me Duette shades. I told her I didn't want those shades, I wanted shutters. She didn't ask why I wanted them, what style of home I had, nothing. Just told me lots of reasons why I didn't want them, mostly that they were big project. ??? Finally, at my insistence, she said I should ask the installer what he thought when he came out to measure (and I paid for the measurement in advance). When the measurer/installer arrived, I asked him what he thought about installing shutters the windows. He said, "I only do fabric blinds and such, the shop knows that. They told me to measure for Duettes." Huh? I decided to write off the experience. Such a shame.
