Very professional company from the beginning to the end. Showed up on time for estimate, emailed it back to me promptly, pricing was competitive. Began on time, and the workers were professional throughout. Moved my furniture and covered it, no dust got into other parts of the house, and the house was kept clean. Painting job was excellent. The foreman was extremely responsible and responsive. The exterior-- at places the siding was rotted and CertaPro arranged for a carpeter to fix it, again at a reasonable price. The paint job was excellent again. I have no complaints at all, only positive things to say and would use them again without hesitation.

Certapro worked with me on all parts of the project: from estimate to punch list. They were patient while I picked out the colors for each of my rooms (I did'nt just pick a simple beige or white) and brought in a very professional wallpaperer for the rooms that were wall papered. They recommended different paints for different rooms depending on their use. They cared about my project and the results demonstrate their care.

We had been looking for a painter to do some work on our home for some time. A friend of ours recommended CertaPro. They sent over a specialist to talk with us about what we wanted. He arrived right on time and was extremely courteous. We discussed the scope of the work, and he provided us with a price estimate. They promptly sent us an agreement outlining the work, so that we could review it for accuracy. The folks on the phone were great about scheduling a convenient time for us. They were very open and up front with us about busy times, and quickly found a good start date. The team that did the work was fantastic! They arrived right on time, were very nice and respectful of our home, did a great job with painting and wall papering, and cleaned up after. All in all, it was a great experience. From start to finish, the process was extremely professional and the people were really nice. I would highly recommend them.

The work was performed according to schedule with no issues and we are very satisified with the company. They did exactly what they said they would do...make us 100% satisified. The project manager was in constant communication and followed up after the crew was finshed to make sure of it.

We had a very similar negative experience to a person who recently posted a review. Too bad we didn't check this site before we began our nightmare. The job started with the subcontractor showing up late with no crew (only his son who had never painted before but apparently he was going to learn at our house) and insufficient supplies. The following day he brought a few other people, all of whom worked for 5 days cutting corners (even tried to get away with only doing one coat of paint) and trying to convince us to pay them $600 directly to fix something that didn't need to be fixed without telling CertaPro. They told us CertaPro would charge us more but they would "do us a favor." Clearly they have no respect for the company that employs them. We can only imagine how many people they have taken advantage of in this way. I believe they give a senior discount. Make sure they aren't taking advantage of any seniors in your family or neighborhood. CertaPro has a supervisor who came daily to convince us that we would end up happy with the job despite all the problems. At first his presence was comforting but after 2 weeks of smooth talking we were fed up. After 5 days of horrible painting (the job was supposed to be 3-4 days but I later found out that yet another employee who gave us the estimate didn't know what he was doing and has since been fired) this supervisor came back for a few hours with one of his "top painters" to try to fix all the problems. Since a job done right the first time is much better than a bad job that gets fixed, we are left with a paint job that is not nearly the quality we expected for the high price CertaPro charges. We did not expect a perfect job because we did not pay for the highest level of prep, but there are still nail holes, spots in corners that were left without 2 coats, paint spills on our driveway and other places around the house and a front door that was still not painted after 2 weeks. We were so fed up with them that we decided we will pay someone else to finish the job instead of dealing with them anymore. We are sure they would have kept coming back because they said they wanted us to be 100% satisfied but we could not have our family and home disrupted for any longer. We spoke to the owner about getting a discount and he said that he needed to make money off the job so he gave us a discount that we felt was insufficient. We were lured in by false promises and a smooth talking employee who came to give the estimate and we encourage you to save yourself the hassle and the money. They are very overpriced. We were willing to pay extra because we thought we were getting quality and low hassle but it was quite the opposite. It is difficult to get accurate information online about the CertaPro franchise because apparently they have used a "reputation builder" company to make their internet searches come up positive, but after digging a bit deeper we see why it is a franchise with one of the highest failure rates around. We were very naive and encourage you not to be. The only positive was the color consultant who helped us pick out lovely colors.

Originally, Mitch was schedule to come on a certain day, but had an earlier opening so he gave us a call to see if it would work for us. Mitch was punctual, professional, and quite knowledgeable. He provided us with an overview of the company, discussed how the whole process would work, and answered all our questions. The Certapro estimate was reasonable (similar to the other quotes we got). I would've felt quite comfortable going with this company. The only reason why we decided to go with another company is due to a friend's referral (you know how that goes).

CertaPro answered my phone call when I was initiating the contact related to this job. They set up an appointment to come to the house to see what needed to be done. The salesman arrived on time as specified, having also called to confirm the prior day (and also confirmed in an e-mail). Shortly after the initial visit, the salesman asked to come back to take one more look on the renovations in progress to provide a final quote for the job. At the end of this visit, the salesman did finalize the estimate and e-mailed it to me before he left the premises. The pricing was very fair and they were able to meet my fast timetable needs. I decided to give them the job and we set a start date. Prior to the start date, I received an e-mail from their office to confirm the start date and for them to give me the name of the person who would be the lead on this job. The supervisor called me prior to the start date to confirm as well to review the details about our pets so the painters could be sure not to let the pets anywhere they weren't supposed to be. The lead painter on the job called me the Friday before the start date to introduce himself and he arrived on time on the following Monday, the start date. He was familiar with what the job required and began work immediately. The team worked diligently, did not take excessive breaks and were extremely clean and careful. They took care each day to clean up and leave no trace of their materials or dust of any kind! It was incredible to see how they carefully vacucumed their work area. Ultimately, they worked around the renovations that took longer than hoped and CertaPro was able to get all of the parts of our job done beautifully.

Based on reviews, I purchased a painter for a day (8 hours) at $349. The promotion indicated that if additional time was required, the hourly rate would be $45. I knew my needs would extend beyond 8 hours, so asked for a full estimate which came to 54 hours. In the end, I spent $2,500 on labor and $400 on my own paint. In the end, the job met the labor criteria, but not at all the professional results. Note that I have waited a full 4 weeks to ensure this review is in balance. Because of the lack of preparation and the inconsistent (40 percent to professional standards, 60 percent well below) quality and/or thoroughness of the job, it has taken me 3 weeks (including weekends although working full time) to either redo, touch up, clean up or finish what the painters started. Nevermind removing paint off of carpet, hardwood floors, furntiure, etc. I had to monitor the job much more than I would have expected and point out blatantly obvious areas and items. This company and the people I have dealt with are more interested in speed than quality, and ratings versus a job well done. I was given a lousy 5 percent discount for my frustrations and after I told the supervisor and the owner that I would never use or recommend them, they offered me a discount/coupon for future painting and to remediate to finish the poor work. The painters were on time and courteous, Jorge in particular. I could tell from the start that they were performing to their company's standards and expectations, but not mine for the money spent on a "professional" painter. The back office experience went well and, in the end, the real issues are in the front office.

Overall the job went very smoothly. The estimate was very thorough and the final cost was right in line with the estimate. The workmen did a very good job, kept things clean and tidy and were done on time. It is by far the best paint job I have ever had. Still looks like it is brand new over 2 years later.

CertaPro met our expectations and in some cases exceeded them. Once we agreed on a start date, they showed up on time. The prep work (what really makes or breaks a paint job) was well done: all the floors were covered, including the stairs and all the furniture, the walls were patched and smoothed and they even made a small repair to one of the window trims without me asking them. The job was to take 2 days and they ended in the morning of the second day. Throughout the project, the painters were friendly and respectful and asked if it was ok if they listened to the radio. Before finishing, they wanted me to ensure all was done to my satisfaction and there was not a single thing I had to ask them to address. The company really seems to care that their project is done right. Shortly afterwards, I received a call from their office asking me if all was done ok and then I received a survey - clearly they are interested in their customers' opinions. I have no hesitation to hire CertaPro again or to recommend them - they were really easy to work with and I'm very pleased with the result of their work.

The work is holding up okay. The quality of the work was good, if not excellent. They finished the job on time.

The individual who came out to provide the estimate was incredibly friendly, thorough and professional. As a first time homeowner there was certainly plenty of opportunity to up-sell me on ancillary services. However, the gentleman who came out to provide the estimate was actually very understanding of what it means to be a new homeowner and pointed out a number of areas where I could actually save some meaningful money by forgoing or delaying certain projects related to the exterior of the home. Had the deal to buy the home not fallen through, I would have likely gone with CertaPro.

The quote process was far more professional than any of the other painting companies I contacted. Once I decided to use CertaPro and booked the job, the company sent me a form asking me for more details about the job and asking me for any information I would like the painter(s) to know during the job. The form pledged that they didn't want the customer to have to repeat their requests more than once so they have each customer complete this form to make sure the customer's requests are honored by all CertaPro employees. The painters showed up on time. Unfortunately, the lead painter that was assigned to our job was not a good communicator and did not really respect the information in the form that I completed. I worked with the company and I felt that they did a good job in fixing the issues I had, both to make my experience better and to improve their services for future customers. In the end, I got my house painted for a good price from a company I feel good about doing business with.

They were very eager to do the work. They took only three days to do the work and it was amazing that they came out and did the work on Saturday also. The guy who came to give the estimate was very nice and talked about many things and he was very easy to deal with. The owner of the company called on the Monday to find out whether I was happy with everything. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

The CertaPro representative came out first and wrote up a detailed description of the job. He made suggestions about what I probably should and should not have done, given that the project is intended to put the house in good shape for possible selling. The workers came on time and worked extremely dilligently, and seemed to be greatly enjoying their work. They sang and chatted a bit and had an excellent attitude. The project leader was always available for me to speak to and was very willing to review the job as it was going along and make changes or additions. This was done several times so that the final outcome was exactly what I had wanted. The quality of the work itself is wonderful. Even after the job was completed and paid for, the project leader let me know that if I notice anything that is not right or something I forgot to absolutely give him a call. All good!

As mentioned above, the painters are fabulous!! Constant communication through the process, color consultation, home visits, and check-ins well after the project was complete to make sure that all was still okay. Everyone should be using them!

They were efficient and did a great job. The salespeople were knowledgeable and polite. The people that did the job did a good job and stayed out of my way as much as possible. It was done quickly and efficiently. Two years later it still looks good. The price was good. They were professional.

They were more expensive than others. They seemed very professional and seemed like they would do a good job but they were quiet expensive. We decided to side it anyways. I might use them in future because I still need to get my house painted.

The company is very professional. However, I discovered that when they are busy, the subcontract work out. Bottom line, I had to have them come back and they did not really give me the job I paid for (the skim coating was only done in limited areas). There are a lot of painting contractors out there, so I will use someone else in the future.

Fantastic. I thought they were very professional. Every experience from the initial estimate visit through the wrap up meeting was well planned, organized and thorough.

They were very efficient, courteous and professional. It seemed high but I didn't actually get any other quotes. We changed our game plan and didn't go through with it.

It was horrible from start to finish. The start date means absolutely nothing to them. They started two to three weeks after the supposed start date. They never gave me a firm start date which they promised to do within 24 hours of contract signing. I was using them on a per day basis rather than a project basis. I needed someone that I could explain the various jobs to. They sent someone who barely spoke English and we could not communicate. The salesman promised the work to be done in three days. It took five. They did a thoroughly shoddy job. The paint is already peeling.

It was very professional, but I got a cheaper estimate from someone else so I went with them.
