Could hardly tell that his crew had been there. Plus, I've had him bid other jobs, and I find his bids very competitive. He's definitely my go to tree guy.

Mike shows when he says and does what is promised. He provided a detailed estimate and was on the job when planned. He and crew are masters at tree work. The was a big tree and was taken down skillfully. All debris was removed from the job site. Woodworks has been a pleasure to work with on multiple projects.

There are plenty of 'tree guys' out there who are just a guy with a saw and truck. We only wanted to work with a certified arborist so we called Michael from Woodworks in a couple of others. Michael knows his trees and have good ideas about what we needed. His price was fair too. He was very communicative and came here on time. They did a fine job and cleaned up. Just make sure you are real clear about what limbs to cut.

It went perfectly. Besides watching their professionalism, I was most impressed with their concern for safety. It was a difficult task to reach large limbs high above my home but they did an exceptional job in removing them. All limbs, trees and debris were chipped and removed. Note: I inquired about a method quoted from another service...Mike's response was "that is old school." Impressive that he is up to date with modern methods and concern for the health of the trees.

Oak and maple trees which were in sad shape, decaying and enormous. One close to 80 foot tall and leaning with a huge base was in danger of falling on house. Mike came promptly to do the evaluation. I was nervous about what this might entail as there were interlacing branches with other old trees as well as electrical supply lines to house. Mike scoped the property and walked me through the whole process. Very focused and confident absolutely no pressured sales tactics. Really reassuring that this somewhat dangerous problem could be addressed. To get trees down, his crew used a series of riggings, and ropes to address individual troublesome branches and secure and lower them safely. Took 2 days to complete which included disposal of all aspects of the tree. Left all other landscaping, home and supply lines unscathed. Immaculate clean up without even a trace of having been there. Had multiple other estimates which were competitive but not nearly as reassuring and professional so I went with Mike Powell. What a relief to get this done...very happy with the result and cost.

What a professional operation! Mike is not just a tree cutter.....there are 100's out there....but he is a certified arborist. He had several good ideas how give us a better view of the mountains. His crew was right on time and very professional. They have up to date equipment and safety accessories. They were very careful not to harm the remaining trees. And clean up? The place looked like that hadn't been here. Highly, highly recommend Mike and his crew!

I knew of the company because they had brought a load of free woodchips to the house. When I called the phone was answered immediately and the owner, Mike Powell, agreed to stop by and give us a quote. He came within the time period promised and was very free with his information about options. We saved some money by having part of the tree left standing (for woodpeckers) and by keeping our wood onsite. He and his worker showed up on time and did the work in less time than was estimated. Everything was cleaned up nicely after the work was done. The company is fully insured and the two workers were obviously skilled. They brought a lift truck and chipper to our property. I graded down a little on the price evaluation because we had a lower estimate from someone else, but I also know that individual was not the professional that these guys were.

All went perfectly. They worked here for several days and always showed up on time and did a good job. After finishing, they cleaned up the area perfectly. They will stack logs or cart them away and chip all the branches. They will haul away the chips or leave them for you. We will use this service again when needed.
