About us

HomeStar is a small family operated full service home inspection company. No large corporation. No red tape. When you call us you speak directly to the inspector and owner, Daren Koniuk, every time. I am available for inspections 7 days a week and my phone is always on. I am fully insured and licensed by New York State. I am also a Certified Inspector by ASHI and a Certified Member of NACHI so you can be sure every inspection meets and surpasses strict guidelines.

We specialize in residential inspections for single & multi-family homes, condos & co-ops. Every thorough inspection covers over 1700 individual items including plumbing, heating, electrical, roofing & exterior from the basement to the attic. Complete written and oral reports given on site immediately after the inspection - no waiting! All inspections performed within 24 to 48 hours - 7 days a week! Every home inspection also comes with a FREE termite inspection completed at the same time.

Some services are not part of a typical home inspection, but that can by completed for addition fees include: Radon Gas, Mold, Lead Paint, Water Quality, Asbestos Testing and more.
