called & got apt for estimate. advised them I would have to drive 75 miles to keep appt. and was given an arrival time from 10:30am-12:30pm which is fine. However, around 11 am on day of appointment, I called to confirm appt. I was told they had gone to Brooklyn instead & would not be keeping appt. I was also told they had tried to contact me the day before, but "your phone wasn't working". Drove 150 miles that day for nothing.

The Clutter Free team worked very quickly and finished the project in a day and a half. Raul was in communication throughout the process and made sure that nothing that I wanted to keep was getting thrown out. The place looks great now, and I can finally begin the process of selling the home. It was worth every penny and I would definitely use them again for future projects. They also found jewelry that was located in my mother's house that I was not aware of. Raul promptly notified me and make sure that it was not thrown away.

Great! We called in the morning and b/c we are in the neighborhood, Clutter Free was able to come pick it up that afternoon. John and a partner came, took the treadmill apart and removed it. They were professional, friendly and efficient.

First of all thank you for the email to the review link we have been so busy we have almost forgotten to rate NYHCS for their outstanding service. They were a little late due to traffic but can be understandable due to it being a last minute call. They showed up with two huge trucks and workers well prepared to clean up the basement. They worked so efficiently that they finished within the day and my basement hasn't looked cleaner since.

The cleaning went well, its just that they took things that were not designated to be taken away. A safe was missing, but the owner did not offer to make any consistences for this, even though they said they were bonded and insured. They were the only ones with access to the house, and there were no signs of break ins.

I have never seen a team work so hard. They removed items and cleaned them, then they put them in my storage. They also removed all unwanted clutter that i didn't need no more. They filtered the Air Quality in the apartment, disinfected and deep cleaned the entire department. I was exhausted from just watching them. You wont regret hiring this company!

I wanted to write this before I forget. It has been an insane couple of weeks dealing with an estate and I have to write Clutter Free was AWESOME! Handling the scheduling of an estate clean out from 3000 miles is not an easy task. I found Clutter Free at the last moment and decided to call based on their reviews. After emails, phone calls, and a last minute confirmation of an estimate date, Lili had us on their books. I think they are just as busy as I have been so it took some work, but she made everything fell into place. Raul came to the apartment that weekend to give an estimate. As I had stated on the phone, it would be hard to do because I didn’t know what the auction house would leave behind. He said to email pictures after the auction house had left and he would give a quote and that we were on the books for that week as a confirmed clean out and cleaning. At first he forgot they said they would do a wipe down, since I told Lili we didn’t need a deep cleaning. Lili confirmed the wipe down when I sent the pictures. The crew showed up a little late, but if you know NYC then you know that is almost a given with the traffic. You just have to plan for it. Raul came in first. Then each, and I do mean EACH member, of his crew shook our hand and introduced themselves to us. They wore a uniform (t-shirt, nice jeans, boots) and were professional. Each was very polite and respectful and gave their condolences on our situation. As they began bagging the leftover items into trash bags (there wasn’t a lot left) they would ask if they weren’t sure an item should be tossed. There was an old organ that had to be broken down and tossed. They had it apart and dumped within 15 minutes using sledge hammers, etc. They were very careful to avoid the walls and floor so there was no damage. After everything was out they really started cleaning. Their wipe down looked like a deep clean to me! I know it wasn’t, based on Raul’s description of a deep clean, but they were still incredible. Vacuuming walls, doors, floor, windows…climbing onto the fire escape to clean the outside of the windows, pulling out the oven and scrubbing it down, removing the metal holders from walls that had held shelving, etc. They made sure to leave everything sparkling, including spraying something just before they left so the apartment really smelled nice. Pretty sure the apartment management will be flabbergasted when they walk in and see the most clean apartment ever after it has been vacated. I’d hire this crew again in a heartbeat. I actually think if they offered a lesser version of their deep clean to clients they could even get more cleaning jobs. Lili offered it because I think she could tell I was frantically trying to get everything in place before flying cross country to clean out the estate. I liked their work so much that I paid them more than the quote and told Raul to take them all to lunch and give them a tip. Note: They work very quickly and may not see the tiny stuff (nails in a wall or shelf racks that blend into the white paint) or may think you want it left behind. If you see something, tell them, and they will gladly hop on it and get it done.

First of all, the representative who gave us the estimate for the furniture/clutter removal services (Raul) was very prompt and arrived on a Saturday morning. He gave us a very fair estimate for removal of the furniture & other large items in the house and garage that we were not able to donate or remove ourselves. In terms of scheduling the clean out, they had appointments available over the next several days, which was important to us because we were working around a deadline. They were flexible and allowed us to book the job for a holiday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). We had a crew of three men for the hauling job (John, and Lawrence and I believe the other man's name was Rashid). They arrived on time with a medium-sized box truck and were able to fit everything we needed them to take that morning. All of the men were ready to work hard and were patient. They listened to directions from the family, and were very easy to deal with. They made the process easy as they worked together and took care with moving each item, especially large pieces like the couches that were difficult to get through doorways and around corners. The crew did not rush and worked in a systematic fashion: they started upstairs, then did the main floor, then the basement, and finally, the garage. The whole job was completed in about 2.5 hours. We feel comfortable recommending them to others who would like a little TLC in the often challenging process of removing large unneeded items from either their own home or the home of a loved one.

I am exceptionally pleased with the work done by the Clutter Free team. From my initial cordial contact with Lily and the estimate by Raul I felt that I was being treated fairly. The team of Lawrence, Tim, Courtney and Rashid have a great work ethic and they cleaned out 50 years of my family's accumulated furniture and stuff from 3 floors of our family home and garage. Some of the stuff was bulky and heavy, but the workers were experienced and handled it easily. The guys were friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation to use or recommend Clutter Free in the future.

The men worked as a team and got the work done on the hottest day of the summer. They were all professional and very easy to deal with. I give them my highest recommendation.

I contacted Clutterfree this July to rid my family's cellar of the rubbish that has been a nuisance for quite sometime and I must say that it was a wonderful experience and money well spent. After speaking with their customer service, I was contacted by the owner, Raul, who was able to come and give me an estimate that same day. He was very pleasurable to deal with and we felt his price was fair for the job that needed to be done. He was able to give us a next day appointment, which was great! His men arrived on time and did a wonderful job. They were very respectful and worked quickly and carefully. They left my cellar broom swept. I think they did a great job and am happy with the results. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone who needs their services as well.

I called this morning and I got a price. I called several others to compare. I called back at one and told them I wanted to hire them. I have never had anything done so efficiently and so fast. I was able to get the discount that was listed on Angie's List. I was very happy with the whole thing.

I consulted with a few companies before settling on Clutter Free. I was concerned because I desperately needed someone to clear out my mother's home now that she is sick and elderly. Almost immediately after contacting them I got an email from the owner who assured me they could handle the job. I agreed to set up an appointment to see the property. He showed up, did an assessment and gave me a reasonable estimate, which was better than the other 3 companies I had spoken with. I was still a bit unsure & waited for a while. While waiting the owner contacted me to see where I was in the process & I told him I was busy but would let him know. I finally decided Clutter Free was the best choice because they were local & had followed through on everything they said they would do. In the interim I added some items to be removed & the owner agreed to come a second time to reassess & amend the estimate. Two days after the second meeting Clutter Free showed up bright and early and ready to work. Unlike some other companies I spoke to, they brought their own supplies and immediately jumped into the formidable tasks. There was no slacking just focused diligence. I feared this would take all day but the work was done quickly and after several hours of non-stop removal & cleaning they finally took a brief lunch break only to return with the same level of discipline. On top of getting the job done, everyone was supportive and friendly since this can be an emotionally draining experience for the customer. The employees worked very hard and all the clutter which would have taken me forever to remove was gone in less than a day. The cleaning was thorough with my mother's home returned to a livable state. Ever since they left I have remained in amazement that all this took place in a relatively short period of time and the outcome was better than I could have imagined it. I hope I won't be in a position to request this service anytime soon again, but if it?s ever necessary to undertake another major cleaning and clutter removal job, I wouldn't hesitate to utilize their services and would recommend them with the highest praise and trust me I am no pushover when it comes to these things.

It went very well. Raul is thoroughly professional and a truly empathetic human being. His personal attention meant the world to us. Aside from being a huge, overwhelming problem, clutter on this scale can be embarrassing. His "war stories" helped us face the task with some perspective, and even humor. On the removal day, three men carried out about 100 bags of trash, plus loads of other items. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. There were things we hadn't planned for and their reaction was always "no problem". You can see that Raul's staff is a very real, experienced team in every way. Unflappable, kind, and a pleasure to work with. We aren't quite finished with the cleaning part of the job and we will be scheduling that for next week with the amazing women who did a such a spectacular job last week.

Another service failed to do its job, so I was scurrying for a replacement. Clutter Free responded faster than anyone else, assessed the job in less than 24 hours, gave me a fair price for a tough job, and had it done by the end of the next day. They were courteous, prompt, and professional. I definitely will be using them again.

They came out and gave an estimate and when I agreed on the price they did the work right then. They were extremely professional and performed the work quickly as well. I will definitely use them and recommend them again. I can't believe I have my garage back. Thank you so much.

They arrived around 9 am and left 12 hours later. A whole large truck was filled, and the apartment was left spotless. They even cleaned all the kitchen cabinets inside and out. We thought we would have to replace the kitchen sink and bath tub, but they cleaned them so well that they looked like new. They also pulled up all the carpets and pulled up the carpet nails. It was a disaster before. The former tenants were hoarders, never cleaned and there were things covering all the floors. You couldn't even get in all the rooms. It would have taken us weeks to do it ourselves. They did a fantastic job!
