Raul and his team of employess are simply the best in the business. All are extremely experienced and professional from our initial meeting, during and after the project was completed. The project included removal of 30 years accumulated junk, painting, hardwood floors sanding and staining and a deep cleaning of entire apartment. I could not be happier and satisfied with the results, my apartment looks terrific and will use the again without hesitation.

The guys came in, bagged up and threw out everything in site no questions asked. If something needed to stay I told them and they worked around it. Very nice crew. Very nice owner. Very pleased with the whole process. The owner Raul even went out of his way to find homes for a few kittens left behind. 👍👍

Amazing. Raul met with us in the co-op while we were in town to look at everything. Then yesterday his team came and cleaned out everything, donating much of it to charity. They even removed stuff we never thought about, like an ugly vinyl flooring that revealed great solid wood floor underneath. Today they are repairing a wall and painting everything. Oh, and they've sent photos of all the work in progress so we can see what's going on. Great job, great crew.

An exceptional and superior job was done by the hands of Raul and his team. They delivered everything that was promised and more. My parents’ house and my childhood home is over 60 years old. Clutter and mildew had accumulated as my parents reached their golden years and could no longer maintain the up keep that they had grown accustomed to. After their passing, I needed to get 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, den, kitchen and basement uncluttered and super clean before putting the house on the market. Raul met with me, reviewed the house and told me not only could he get rid of the clutter but would deep clean, disinfect and sanitize the house in one day. In my mind, I was thinking the job would at least take 2 days. In reading prior reviews on Angie’s List, Clutter Free Junk Removal/ New York Home Cleaning had a good reputation on delivering their promises. I met with Raul and team at 9:00am in the morning and he told me to come back at 5:00pm and the job would be completed. I left them alone, Raul called me before 5pm when the job was completed. Upon arrival Raul gave me a tour and after reviewing the entire house I was amazed how each room was brought back to life. All the clutter was removed and all mildew and odors were gone as promised. We discussed removing the carpets but I was concerned that after so many years the wooden floors would not be presentable. And I was going to save the removal of the carpets for another time as my budget did not allow me that luxury. But then to my amazement and elation Raul threw in the removal of the carpet for the price already quoted. Not only did they remove the carpet but they also scrubbed the wooden floors in every room. What a blessing!!!!! I will be painting the whole house in the very near future and believe me Raul’s company is on speed dial! We called on this service to help us clean out our parent's house so we could sell it. My father had many tools and every screw and nail you can imagine in the basement. There was some furniture, refrigerators, chairs, etc.....all things that we could no longer use. They got rid of all of it! In addition to that, we rented the house for almost 3 years and the tenants were not very clean (to say the least), so they did a deep cleaning inside every room and power washed the outside driveway and sidewalk. They did this all in one day. We hired them to come back and paint the inside of the house at a reasonable price and they did a good job. The house looked fantastic! The staff were friendly and hard working. They all seemed to get along and have fun while they worked. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cutter Free Junk removal has been a life saver! Not only did they give my aunt her life back by restoring her house to a home by removing years of junk and clutter that built up to where it was way to overwhelming for her to clean out herself but they also gave her a much better quality of life! She is no longer breathing in toxic odors and she can move about her home freely without being trapped by her own hoarding. I can't express my graditude enough! They truely are the angels of life!! This was a challenging job as access to the basement was not easy. Countless trips hauling very heavy stuff up the stairs and out to their waiting trucks on the two hottest days of the year. Nine men and five truck loads later the job was complete and first rate! Absolutely no complaints and I would absolutely call this company again.

Lili and her crew arrived - a total of 8 people - put on their protective suits and masks and looked like they were ready for hazmat cleanup. Well, my parents' home has not been thoroughly cleaned for at least 15 years, so they were suited up appropriately. Yes, over the years probably the pathway where people walk and do their business have been cleaned on a rudimentary basis but honestly the 5-second rule would not apply to my mom's kitchen floor. We've already had a home inspector and an asbestos clean-up crew come in, so they both said a major deep cleaning is necessary. This team is not a housekeeping or maid service, it is serious business on an industrial level. Most of the windows had old adhesive gunk from packing tape that my parents and grandkids who lived there used as weatherstripping (don't ask) - it was a horrible mess that required an inordinate amount of time to tackle up to 23 windows being taken apart and the innards and frames really deep cleaned - let alone the glass had to be sparkling inside and out afterwards. All the walls and ceilings were cleaned, the insides of kitchen cabinets, oven, dishwasher, fridge, range hood, light fixtures etc., were all cleaned and degreased. The hardwood floors steam cleaned and the whole house smells fresh after decades of being closed off. The basement, where the inspector reported black mold, was disinfected and sealed as best as possible but Lili recommended a company specializing in mold remediation since the mold is deep in the sheetrock and probably behind it. Our attic was picked clean but could not be vacuumed because of the very old rock wool insulation that should not be disturbed. So a total of 4 levels from basement to attic plus a little pressure washing outside, was covered by the cleaning crew. Overall the house is as clean as it'll ever get, we are now ready to paint, finally! One thing that everyone on a tight budget should be aware of and this is not limited to New York Cleaning Service, but to all companies here on Angie's List or anywhere else. There will be surprises and if you don't budget for it, you're not being realistic. We already had College Hunks come in to remove all the big pieces of furniture and they were going to come back for the miscellaneous junk, which were still left on every floor of the house. Didn't seem like a lot but when aggregated, it filled another truckload and Lili's crew ended up having to remove it for us in order to really clean every surface in the house. While they are not solely junk removers like College Hunks, their rate was higher to remove the remaining junk and the washer/dryer - so that was a surprise cost added to the bill. It isn't their fault, we should've had the house completely empty before the cleaning crew arrived - but we've never done this before, so who knew? Lili worked with us and we really appreciated whatever break she was able to get for us.

Raul and his team at Clutter Free were absolutely amazing. They respectfully surveyed my sibling's apartment, provided a reasonable estimate for cleaning and junk removal, and were unbelievably flexible as my sibling changed his mind a couple times regarding having the work done. I was visiting from out of town so had a finite timeline when I needed things to happen. When we finally got my sibling to agree to the cleaning, Raul and his team fit us into their schedule and actually cleaned for 9 hours on a Sunday. The apartment looked amazing when they were finished. No more trash, no junk, and the entire place (to include the bathroom and kitchen) were spotless.
