My old wooden garage door had finally completely fallen apart so we needed someone to come put on a new garage door. I Googled different companies on Long Island (I wasn't a member of Angie's List yet), and called several for estimates. All Island Garage Door answered right away and offered to come out the same day to do an estimate for us. Dan came out later that day and gave us a very fair and reasonable price that was within our budget. He showed us the exact door we would get and wrote up the estimate on the spot. We set a date for the same week. I let him know that if he wanted to come earlier on the scheduled day, he was welcome to go in the yard before I got home from work. I was VERY happy and surprised to see that by the time I got home, the work was 100% completed, the door looked beautiful and operated perfectly. I called the office and they let me know he would swing by later in the day for the payment. Both Dan and the lady who answered the phone were very nice, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. On a side note, I called Edward Mojica Installations to ask them about quotes and the salesman was extremely rude. He sighed and asked me for a model number on the door I wanted?? He said he couldn't help me unless I knew beforehand the exact door I wanted? In all fairness, I also called Big A's Garage Door and AJ Garage Door. Both got back to me within just a few hours and Big A's gave me a quote over the phone but it was about $200.00 higher than All Island, although the guy was very nice. I never spoke with AJ Garage Door since I had already scheduled the appointment with All Island but he did get back to me quickly and left a message.

Throw their number away or you will be sorry if there is an issue! Doors were installed on 11/19/2012. When I arrived home from work I noticed there were dents on the inside and outside of one of the doors and the other had gaps that were uneven. The framing was dead on so it is definitely his installation. I called immediately and reported this issues. Another issues was the garage door opener which is a Liftmaster Genie wasn't adjusted correctly and one day my garage with my expensive tools was wide open for all to steal. Dan came back and turned a force switch to fix the opener but this should have been tested before leaving the job. It has been almost a year and I have had no resolution with these issues. Michelle in the office doesn't call back most times, Dan blows off appointments and never reschedules, and now they don't even pick up or call back. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they have blown the inquiry off with the BBB. I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs and to date they haven't heard back from them! I contacted Clopay to see if they can get involved on my behalf. They were very nice and stated that this was not a manufacturing defect and happened on installation or after once they saw the picture I sent them of the damage. I am now going to have to take All Island Garage Door Inc. to small claims court to receive some sort of compensation.

He installed a garage door opener for us in March 2010. It stopped working 6 months later so I called him to come back and fix it. He scheduled an appt and never showed up. I called him the next morning & he told me he came to my house but no one was home. That was a lie. I was home with my son & 3 dogs. If he came, the dogs would have barked. I wanted him to come so I said I didn't hear him and asked when he could come back. He said he would come back that day after 3 pm. I asked him to please call me if there was no answer at the door to avoid the problem we had the day before & he agreed. I was home all day and he never showed up. The next morning I called him again. He said he was busy & would call me back. Never did.
