Gino was great. He is a true professional. He got back to me quickly & gave me a quote for a set of custom basement stairs, floor moldings & crown molding in my kitchen. He did an excellent job! My house was built in 1903 so there were quite a few challenges with the walls not being perfectly level. He worked around these issues & the end result looked stunning. He was very professional & friendly . I would HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for a top notch job at a reasonable price.

Gino was wonderful! We both were very busy but he kept trying to schedule a time for him to come and fix my stairs. Once he came he was extremely professional and you could see he was an expert at what he does. He even fixed a part of my stairs that was broken and matched the wood! I would highly recommend him!! There are stair makers. And then there is Gino. He is driven to execute the best job he can. I contracted him through Angie?s List to install a new set of stair rails, combined with a new railing for a hall landing, and to remove the squeaks from two sets of stairs. These original stairs were built in 1957. I had no idea what a professional job he would do. Gino is meticulous in how the finished product looks and sounds (in terms of squeaky stairs). He and his assistant worked tirelessly, taking maybe fifteen minutes for lunch on the first day. The job took about 1.5 days. Stain and paint finishes are first rate. Carpentry cuts are precise. Balusters are plumb. The finished set of stairs is the first thing viewed as you open my front door, so this job was important to me. It clearly was more important to Gino. Because I?m handy, myself, I directed him, originally, to leave a few parts of the job (painting) to me?thinking that I would save a few bucks. However, when I saw how complicated the job was, I told him to complete everything. The in-house white lacquer spray job and the oak staining he did at the Woodtalk Company workshop was superior to anything I could accomplish with my humble Home Depot paintbrush. His modified bill for doing the painting was fair. The total price of the job was fair, in fact. The promised time frame for completion was three to six weeks when I signed the contract. He contacted me at week #5 to do the job. It was well worth the wait. When the job was completed, everything was back in order in my house. The work site was left clean and neat. Every piece of scrap material was picked up, and the area was vacuumed thoroughly. Gino is a professional, pure and simple. He showed up when he promised and my new staircase is both functional and a work of art. Both of us stood there for a moment to take in the finished product, and we said, simultaneously, ?It looks like it was always there.? I recommend him 110%.

He exceeded my expectations. Professional through and through and delivered and installed it one week earlier than he committed. I would have to say use this company without any reservations. The owner does all the work.

excellent! at first I thought the quote was high. by the time they were done I knew I got a great deal. work was of the highest quality and the rails were unique and designed around our requests (wide, that we could put a drink on) phenomenal work. I wish l had more rails to put in.

These guys deserve an A+. I had an attic stair that was quite old and beginning to come apart. They came and did an estimate, found the closest parts they could find and did everything to bring the stairs back to new. They were were very hard-working, conscientious and polite. Although the job turned out to be more time-consuming and difficult than expected, they did not try to raise the estimate. Gino and his workers were great. I recommend him very highly!

I'm sure you've had a similar experience. When the salesman first visited our house, he seemed to good to be true. In this case he lived up to our complete expectation. Our job required a specialized form of refinishing, in which they had to repair scratches on several work surfaces, and the scratches had to blend with the grains of the surrounding veneers. The mechanics, Raven and Max, were completely professional and competent. The job was estimated at two days, but they felt a third day was required, and there was no increase in the price. They did not know that I ran a furniture service business for 25 years, and knew what was required from them. I'm recommending them to my lawyer son-in-law, to recondition his office (touch up all scratches on his desk and chair) and to my daughter, to touch up some scratches on her dining room table m marshak

We had a very good experience with them. They did a fabulous job. I would definitely recommend them. Their price is okay. You pay for what you got and it was worth it. Their quality of work is topnotch. He was very responsive. I can't say anything bad about this guy.

Gino works very hard and met his deadlines. My stairs are absolutely the most beautiful set of stairs I could ever dream of having. He gave suggestions when I wasn't quite clear of what I wanted. He also gave me the website to go to view his work. He worked around my schedule which included him working Saturdays and Sundays. Very kind, warm and personable. He have many high end clients and treated me no different. I would definitely use him again.

Gino arrived on time and did an excellent job replacing our basement stairs. This was not a simple replacement - one of the risers needed to be bored out to accomodate a 4and quot; waste pipe that runs straight through the stairs. The entire job took about 4 hours and everything was left neat and clean. I could have done the job myself but there are times when a professional is required - this was one of those times. I am pleased to recommend this company to anyone who needs professional wood work done.

Their work was superb. They were very nice people. They were very prompt, and they did very good work.

Follow up work done: We had Gino install a oak handrail on top of the iron railing and an oak handrail going downstairs in our hi-ranch. He also put an oak cap on the stair stringers and made a "free form" transition strip from the living room oak floor to the tile in the hallway. I was leery about the oak handrail on top of the iron, but Gino created a beautiful handrail. My wife and I were extremely pleased with workmanship and installation. I believe we got a lot for our money. I would certainly recommend Woodtalk to anyone. Overall, the installation went very well and the work was neat.

We signed a contract, it was detailed, and had an install date. He completed the job around our busy schedule. He was very clean and went the extra effort to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the job. We worked with 3 different contractors during the past couple of years and he was the only one that started and completed the job when he was supposed to.
