+ -1 moreI have about 25 Leland Cypress trees lining my driveway. They were very overgrown. About 15' high and needed to be pruned back about 2 feet and also shaped on the sides. Joe, the owner operator was here for two full days. Not only did he prune back and shape them, but he also cut all the dead wood on the bottoms and set it aside for me to use as kindling for my winter fireplace fires. After he was finished, he raked all the cut branches, leaves, debris and also blew the property clean with his blower. I've been getting compliments from my neighbors...they have never seen tall hedges shaped with such artistic beauty...and I definitely agree. Joe takes tremendous pride in his work. Over the years I've used other tree companies...no one comes close to his caring, outstanding work.

+ -1 moreI've been using Heartwood Tree for a little over 9 years. I used him when we lived in Nassau and continue to use him now that we live in Suffolk. Joe, the owner, is not only an expert on trees, but he also takes very special care of them. He climbs trees the old fashioned way - never wearing "razor cleats" on his boots, which can truly harm a tree. Joe is also wonderful at pruning those trees that need extra special attention, like Japanese Maples. He does a comprehensive clean up after all his work is finished, leaving your property looking great! He also does deep root feeding, fertilization, spraying, cabling, mulch, etc. I totally recommend Heartwood Tree for any of your tree and shrub projects.
Description of Work: Joe, the owner, did a masterful job of cutting back branches, pruning and shaping all my overgrown trees in the rear of my 1/2 acre property. Dogwoods, Plums, J** Maples, etc. He will be back in the fall to do a larger job - pruning my many Leland Cyprus trees that line my driveway.
