Description of Work: After having my finished basement take on water twice in one month I decided to call an expert. I "almost" signed a contract with a company who had very impressive literature and a slick salesman. However, I joined Angies List first and found the company to have the WORST rating of any company listed. Using the info provided on the list, I contacted E&W. The owner was very professional, recommended a much more extensive French Drain than originally planned and explained why he recommended what he did. Best of all, he was the same price as two other contractors who recommended abbreviated systems. Duel sumps and duel pumps, as a back-up, at no additional charge. His team of at least 7 men arrived in the morning and completed the entire job in one day. All my furniture had been covered before any of the work began. They were careful to protect my property even though the installation was a laborious and dirty job. They didn't take one penny until the job was done and I was satisfied. I waited many months for the rains and high water table to become a problem before writing this review. I'm happy to say that the system works GREAT and I never saw a drop of water anywhere. I would highly recommend E&W for honestly, professionalism and a job well done. And no - I never heard of these guys until I found them on Angies List
