It is such a pleasure to deal with this company. When I called them on the phone he answered I didn't have to speak to an answering machine. He made an appointment with me and showed up on time. During the appointments he told me exactly what he was going to do to fix the problem. Was very honest would recommend him to anybody who needs WATER proofing.. His men came on the day he said he was coming and did the work very professionally and cleaned up after themselves this was three days before a big storm I'm very happy to report that I have no water in my basement because of the good work that HE did.

In June I contacted e and m waterproofing for a second opinion on a water issue that I was having. A representative from e and m came to my house within in a day or so and provided me with a detail inspection. As a person who suffers from allergies my concern was mold. The rep informed me that mold was just isolated to one section of the basement and was being caused by a hairline crack in the foundation behind the Sheetrock wall. I opted to have them conduct an air sampling /mold inspection test which included a laboratory report that was extremely detailed. The rep gave me a proposal to fix the crack from the outside and to do mold remediation to my basement. E and m came and did all the work neatly and in a timely manner. I would recommend e and m because they're honest, the other well known mold remediation company gave me a proposal just for mold remediation for $7300.00. e and m proposal encompassed the mold remediation plus fixing the crack from the outside to stop water penetration for $4100.00. I also purchased an aprilaire dehumidifier from e and m that they installed hidden in a utility room with a vent system. The dehumidifier is quiet and automatically empties water to the outside of my house. My basement smells better and is mold free. I recommend e and m they're are honest and professional.

Excellent!!. Took the time to look at foundation inside and outside. Took measurements to make accurate evaluation of existing crack. Educated me on the type of crack, if it needed to be repaired or not. Left a phone # and offered to speak to anyone, need be concerning the crack. Would absolutely use this company myself and would definitely recommend them.

He went above and beyond and explained everything thoroughly. He, also, gave me advise about being a new home owner.

Work was completed in one day.

They did a fantastic job. They were on time, efficient and clean. The owner called the day before, the day of and came out during the work. He also called later in the day after the work was done to make sure I was happy with what was done. They had to dig down to the foundation and there was a lot of dirt but they cleaned everything up when they were done and it hardly looked like anyone had been there. While only time and lots of rain will tell if it worked, I'm extremely happy with what was done.

Very professional consultation and willingness to diagnose the problem even though it didn't require his services for fixing at this time. Would definitely hire them if waterproofing is needed.

Great job. Staff was prompt and clean. Eddie made the trip out during the day to make sure work was progressing. Highly recommend.

Eddie came over promptly the next day and assessed our problem. He was very honest and told us that the issue wasn't with the concrete flooring slab in the sunroom but with the aluminum siding on the exterior of the house. He recommended contacting a contractor that handles this work. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism since we got 2 other estimates for various types of drainage and waterproofing that was in the several thousand dollar range from other companies that would not have solved our problem. I would certainly call them in the future if the need for their services arises.

It went very well - they fixed a foundation crack

We had to wait but the it was worth the waiting. EM owner is a very professional and responsive. Whatever was need to be done was explained and done extremely well. I wish all contractors were like Ed from EM Waterproofing. Very Highly recommended.

It was no work done, but even so, Eddy was mindful and called me the same day I called. He explained the situation and what I needed to do. Eddy's experience shone through.

He was punctual.He dug up part of the driveway. He found 3 cracks in the f foundation He chiseled the cracks wider and filed the in with Hydralic Cement, then he put tar on top of it and finally he placed a Membrane over it. Then he closed the hole. He said that this work is guaranteed for 10 years. He put in a new layer of cement where it was broken up. He cleaned up the driveway and left. I am very pleased with the work and I thin I will not have any more water coming in my basementt.

They were great. Were prompt, courteous, worked hard and finished the job in about 4 or 5 hours. Have had no poblems yet with water in that area. Eddie also recommended putting a window well around the window in that area as it is situated low to the ground level. Excellent job. Would and will recommend this company.

It turned out great. I haven't had a problem. They were very good. The price is really good. I could not complain about the price. Everything has held up. I have not gotten any water in my basement and I used to have a lot of problem with water. They were very quick, came when they said they were going to come and did it.

I did not have work done at this time of review.

Although we did not need E & M Waterproofing services at this time, I am totally confident that they provide excellent service.

Not much to say. Seven guys started at seven in the morning and worked like a well oiled machine. Very well organized with no movement wasted. Job completed at 4pm.

I am very happy with E&M. For many years, during heavy rains we got water in 1 area of my basement and it was difficult to know exactly how the water was getting in since it came in behind a finished wall. We got 3 quotes to address the problem. 1 quote was for a french drain (according to the business owner, this is the "only foolproof way" to address the problem - ridiculous). The other quote was for a whole bunch of "options", including a french drain, and he didn't guarantee any of them because he couldn't see the water coming in (due to the wall) and he would not be held responsible for a reoccurrence (crazy!). Only Ed from E&M was able to accurately diagnose the problem (crack in the foundation wall) without even seeing the crack and give me a reasonable quote (cheapest out of everyone) with all work taking place on the OUTSIDE of the house - which sounded way better to me than a french drain. Ed even came back to clarify some questions we had. We went with him and soon after his guys started, lo and behold, they found the hairline crack going all the way down the wall. They sealed it up and covered the wall with Voltex, and also redirected rainwater away from the house with a perforated pipe to a new drywall. After multiple rainstorms since then, not a drop of water in the basement. These guys are awesome - USE THEM if you have a basement water problem, don't listen to everyone that says you need a french drain.

I had a bad flooding problem along the east side of my house, it looked like a small lake when it rained. Ed came, came up with a way to fix this & a few weeks later, his guys showed up bright & early & proceeded to go to work. They were careful, & meticulous, they took their time & made sure they did the job right. Within a couple of weeks, we had some good rain & the area still flooded-(not quite as bad) I contacted Ed, & the next day his guys came back to fix the problem. Unfortunatley this didn't work as the area was still flooding-(again, not as much as it used to), Ed said he would try one more thing & if this didn't work he would refund my money-( when have you heard a provider tell you that!! )-I told Ed, I have all the faith in the world in him & I trusted whatever he tried would work. Well long story short, it did. We have had quite a few storms in the last 6 months including one last week. Not a drop of water above ground. problem SOLVED. This is the 2nd time I have used E&M Waterproofing & I just want to say, Ed's reputation is so important to him, He is a good man, his crew is a reflection of him & his rates are very reasonable. I hope I don't have any more water problems at my house in the future but if I do, my only call will be to Ed & E & M Waterproofing

We had received one estimate of $4000 from a neighbors recommendation, seemed excessive. E& M came in, met with my huisband, showed him how the problem could be fixed with a window well and what to buy. Needless to say, we were thrilled and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional. They showed up on time and explained everything well.

Ed and Matt showed up and gave me a very clear explanation of the problem and what they would do to fix it. They were very busy but I made an appointment with them and they stuck to it. The work crew showed up on time (5 guys) and worked non stop until they had finished the job. They finished the work in one day, which was very impressive. Ed (the owner) showed up to make sure that everything was being done correctly and up to his standards. They also honored the Angie's list discount posted on the ad. The workmen did a nice finishing job on the concrete and left the backyard cleaner than they had found it. These guys are attentive and professional and I recommend them. They also guarantee their work.

Ed came punctually, reviewed my issue, and gave me an estimate. He called to schedule the work, his crew showed up when expected and installed a 4 foot wide by 7 foot deep dry well using concrete septic blocks. Ed's crew thoroughly cleaned up the work scene. They kindly used some of the excavated soil to fill in some depressions in my property and removed the rest. Ed followed up to assure that the job had been completed satisfactorily. And once again, I had excellent results from using E & M Waterproofing.

I left a message with an answering service; I got a call back almost immediately. I described the flooding problem and was told pretty quickly that he didn't think we needed waterproofing; I tried to explain in more detail and he said "Alright I'll have my estimator call you. I waited a while and din't hear back right away. Meanwhile, another contractor working on my basement assured me I should have one section of wall waterproofed and I am still looking for a specialist to do that work. Update: I understand the uniqueness of the situation as per the company's response, and have since changed the grade in fairness.
