Description of Work: I had water coming to my basement due to a hole made in the foundation to pass the electrical wires. They plug the hole from outside. I am waiting for a major rainfall to see if there are any issues but the job was done very professionally. I give them a very good rating.

He gave me his cell phone # and told me to keep an eye on it when the snow starts to melt outside in the coming days to see then where it might be coming in from. We have used his services twice before many years ago and we were very satisfied.

Description of Work: I highly recommend E&M Waterproofing. E&M installed a dry well at the bottom of my basement stairs. We had flooding in our basement when there were was heavy rain. The E&M crew were professional and hard working.

Description of Work: I had a foundation crack, near a basement window, which was causing a leak into my basement. They set up an appt. for an estimate, arrived on time, and gave a full written estimate. We set a date for the work to be done, but they called when they had an earlier cancellation. I took that appointment. The forecast for that day was for cold and some snow flurries. They were in contact the day before to tell me that they were definitely sending their workers to do the job the next day, which they did. It ended up that they needed to do more work than originally estimated, including a trench under the basement window. They dug down till they hit sand, and put in a pipe to draw any water down to the sand. They DIDN'T charge me anything more than they originally quoted (for supplies or labor).It just so happened that the flurries which were forecast turned into about 3" of snow (they worked through it). The company owner himself came to deliver the added supplies which were not in the original estimate. So far I have had no water/moisture leaking into the basement.It has been very cold and we've had mostly snow (not rain), so the real test will be in the spring. The quality of work done here looked very good, so I don't expect to have any further leakage. |Everyone from this company was very professional. I would recommend them to others and would use them again myself.

Description of Work: I needed the south wall of my basement waterproofed. They worked on the outside, dug a trench down to the footing and sealed the concrete wall, also repairing a long crack in the wall and installing two window wells. They treated my plants well, put everything back where it was and graded the soil against the wall. All in all, a fine job.

Description of Work: waterproofing my basement. They finish the work in one day. Apparently Voltex needs water to activate and I've had multiple water penetrations. They came back to fix additional crack and about 2 more water penetrations before my basement is completely dry. They also came back to fix the excavated area cause it was sinking. | |They are very responsive to follow up phone calls and honest. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: After having water in our basement after a heavy rain, they installed a french drain. Our hats |off to the company and to the men that installed the drain. They went above and beyond what had been explained to us in the beginning. I made a number of trips into the basement as they were working - asking questions about the french drain - and they took the time to explain all that was being done. And I know more about it now, | |that I can really explain it to other people. The |men were very professional and when they were finished clean-up was impeccable. We would |recommend this company highly to people that needed this type of service to be done.

Description of Work: I spoke with Eddie over the phone. After figuring out our basement water was not coming from a plumbing leak, he came to my house and inspected the foundation and basement areas. We had a pool of water in the basement but couldn't figure out where it came from. He was so professional and not looking to make a quick buck. He suggested we get our gutters cleaned first and foremost and then see if water comes back. He was timely, professional and courteous as many of the reviews state. If water comes back, I know who to call.

They were very nice and honest and recommended to simply fill in the cracks myself as they were nothing to be concerned about. Did not try to sell anything I didn't need. Highly recommend!

Description of Work: For 40 plus years, the house has dealt with flooding on the basement level (a fully furnished floor). An antiquated sump pump was simply not enough. Finally at wit's end, I hired Eddie of E&M. He came to the house promptly, suggested what needed to be done, and quoted a price. I hired him immediately, and within a few days, the work was done. They dug out the well area, inserted two very large pumps, and created an easy outlet for the rain water to get inside the well. As of this writing (May 27, 2014), I have not had any flooding. There were two minor issues, which when pointed out to Eddie, were fixed immediately. I have no qualms about recommending E&M or using them again.

Description of Work: I needed a company to come and check out my foundation and E &M Waterproofing Inc came within one day. It turned out to be something else. But tried to get several companies to come and check it out and noone would except for E & M. They didn't do the job but would use them if I did have an issue with my foundation.

Description of Work: They did additional waterproofing on the side of the house; the exterior foundation (east side of the house). We have used them in the past. They cleaned the foundation, cemented the foundation cracks and applied tar. They also installed Voltex membranes and skim-coated the foundation with cement.

The work was done neatly and in a timely manner. I was informed on the progress of the work as the work was being done.Most importantly the price was fair ( no hidden cost)and the job was done right.
