Tom and his team have been an incredible support during the very long and frustrating insurance claims process of a water pipe leak. Tom helped me manage 2 different insurance claims with my HOA and personal insurance, showed up for insurance adjusters and talked on the phone with claims adjusters all before I even signed a contract. He always answers my calls and texts! It is rare to find a contractor that really cares and will make sure you get top quality work from his guys. You don’t get workers that do everything. You get workers who have a specialty area and they do wonderful work. If you are looking for an honest company that will communicate clearly and make sure everything is immaculate, don’t hesitate to call Tom!

I came across Bolt Home Improvements through the work they were doing in our condo community. One of the jobs was a complete home remodel with an outside deck. I had the opportunity to view that job and the quality of their work was simply excellent. I have a number of home improvement jobs I want done, but despite Angies list or Home Advisor you really don’t know who your inviting into your home and weather they really care about the quality of work they or their crew does. There is no substitute for actually seeing a contractors work first hand. I invited Tom over for our first consultation. He was on time, professional and he brought catalogs and samples for us to choose from. On his second visit we finalized the details, contract and schedule. Materials were delivered before they started and it took them approximately four days while dodging the weather to complete. The framing is all CCA lumber with the ledger board being bolted into the foundation. Hangers and brackets were used throughout and to tie the front of the framing to the old cement patio. They slanted the framing away from the building for proper rain water run-off. The decking is TimberTech pictured framed using two different color boards. See photo attached. Tom and his crew are great to work with, really nice guys who take pride in doing the job right, to code, clean up at the end of each day, and with as little hassle to us as possible. The weather was hot and humid and their concern was to get the job done to a point were our air conditioner could be reinstalled so we would not be inconvenienced. We weren’t, the air conditioner was reinstalled that evening. On top of that, they did a few extras for me that were not part of the job. They replaced a broken outside electrical socket with a new weather resistant box and they replaced a section of my siding that was partially melted by a previous contractors work. The HVAC air conditioning work was performed by Anthony of Everlast Air Conditioning & Heating, who also did an excellent job. He also did extra work to do the job right that was not done properly before. The deck was completed and my wife and I could not be happier with their work. We plan to have them back soon to complete other jobs we have planned. There work does not come cheap, but you will know the job was done right and with excellent quality. They take pride in there work and they stand behind it.

It did not go well at all. Abusive to his workers and to the homeowner. Terrible tile job on both the walls and floor. See attached photos of floor. Took down the wall tiles before homeowner could take pictures. Damaged the walls in the adjoining room while removing the tiles. Took our money and then walked off the job leaving homeowners with no usable bathroom. There are more pictures but was not able to upload. Damaged tub during rip out. The list goes on an on. Been through a lot of renovations in my time. This is the first time I've had a problem like this.
