V M A Painting

The provider had previously done exterior painting. When the trim painting began to crack I brought it to the attention of the owner. I was told it would be repaired and what the cost would be and could I give them half down as a deposit. A check was written and I noticed cashed the very same day. Weeks went by and I was concerned that the "season" for outdoor painting was going to come to an end before the work could be done. Trying to contact the owner was next to impossible.....he was out of town, he was finishing up another project, etc. Realizing the work wasn't going to be completed that season I asked for my money to be returned. The owner said he would repair the work in the Spring which would be fine but I wanted my money back to work for me. That turned into a real fiasco so much so that I was getting The paperwork to file in small claims court for the return of my money. Offers to pick up a check at his home went unanswered, calls were avoided. I was finally given a check for less than the money I originally paid as a deposit. There is a whole lot more that could be shared regarding this business that I got from persons who know the owner but could be taken has hearsay to I won't go there. Final words if using this painter - BUYER BEWARE!

Do not Hire. They were known as J&F Painting. They take things from the house they are painting and try to sell it to the next home. They took off with our money and did not finish the work. They left the bathroom full of fesies. They did a really bad job. We have taken them to small claims court.
