BDB was great. They came within a day of me calling for an estimate. They put me on the schedule for 2 weeks. Were on time and completed the job on time. They were very professional and did a few extra things for me while on the job and cleaned up. I even got a follow up call the next day to see how things went. Overall= very good company and I would highly recommend them!!!

BDB Team was prompt and courteous from the Quoting process onward. Katie kept me informed coming up to the date of the work with timelines etc. Overall job looks great. They did have a mechanical failure during the work, but that didnt stop them from doing a great job. Crew overall was very professional, when the machine broke a few were flustered/frustrated but the job was completed and looks great. Couple neighbors liked the work and are considering them in the future. Thanks again.

We did most of our business via email which was super convenient. They were flexible and worked with me on scheduling a date to do the work. The day of the job, they were amazingly fast and left a brand new driveway that met our measurements and expectations. Everyone at the company is super friendly to work with. We did later (6/5/15) have some water puddling up in locations, but they were fast in responding and fixing the issue. Update 11/16/2015: Unfortunately the water puddling where the roller machine met with the garage area at the top of the driveway remains an issue. I reach out to the company every few weeks to see if there are any updates and I get a fast reply that I am on the radar. However, this has been going on for longer than I would like to resolve the issue. The previous fix was to heat up the drive way and hand tamp the area to ensure run off when it is raining heavily. Unfortunately after every rain I get a 5 ft long puddle about a half inch deep due to drizzle or rain tapering off. This worries me for the winter when water melts, puddles, and re-freezes. At one point they did offer to patch which they said would be unsightly... which is unfortunate for what I paid for, but as far as I know no one has been back out to look at the problem.

The provider carefully checked the driveway very thoroughly and told me I did not need to have it seal-coated at this time. He thoroughly explained the procedure and what happens to the driveway following seal-coating. However, he did suggest that an area in front of the garage door, and at the side entrance to the garage, should be repaired to provide adequate slope from the garage door sill to the driveway. He provided an approximate estimate for the work if I decided to proceed with it. I decided to wait until next year to get it repaired, but indicated if the provider had other jobs in the neighborhood and could add mine on to one or more of them I might consider having the work done on my driveway at the same time as the other jobs were done. The provider was extremely sincere, honest, and very professional in providing his advice to me. I would have no hesitation in having the provider do the work if I decided to proceed with it, and would recommend the company to anyone who might need their services. The provider was very friendly and took his time in speaking with me.

Very well. The crew was well organized and worked h****** a job the took a little longer than anticipated. Very pleased with results.

Our experience with BDB Paving went very well. The estimator, Henry, came to our house exactly when he said he would. He took one look at our driveway and said that we did not need to have our driveway sealed this year, that the sealant was still in good shape and good for another year. At first, I thought he was just pushing us off and not wanting to do the job. But, he told us what to look for, to determine when our driveway will need to be sealed. Henry also explained what problems can occur from having to many coats of sealant. I was very pleased with his honesty. Henry also answered my questions about the sealant that got splattered on our house from last years company. He told us about the cleaner that they use, that takes tar right off. He told us to call the girl back at the shop and she should be able to tell us the name of the product and where we could get it. My wife and I both agree that we will definately use BDB Paving, when the time comes to have our driveway sealed.

They were prompt on time for the appointment and gave us a good quote, not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. They sounded experienced and we were considering taking their offer, however something more urgent came up and we had to delay this project. So we did not hire them yet.

Very good. Everything was explained well and I was happy with the outcome allthough I did not use them for this project I would use them for paving if I had a need in the future.

They were prompt and professional in providing us with a beautiful new driveway. The only downside was failure to provide topsoil along the edges of the driveway. They had promised to do this. When it did not happen we reminded them twice and both times they said they would do it promptly. However, it never happened.

Quick and clean at reasonable price. We have used 2 other services and done it myself prior to BDB but will stay with them for the future

Driveway installation was awesome and done in one day.? The base they put down with the pavement should last 15 to 20 years. I had some difficulty getting them back to paint the sidewalk.? By the time they were able, weeks later, it appeared they just wanted to get it done.? Not as much attention to detail as I had hoped for with the paint.

I don't hire him, he just came and look at it and gave me information on fixing it. He sounds really good. He does everything by hand. He takes his time. He told me what they should have done, but they didn't do and that is why the prices were cheap. He is on your list and I read the review and he sounded very good so I had him come over and he was very professional. He explained everything to me and I just wanted your opinion because other guy didn't go a good job at all. He come up and looked and explained all to me and told about how it should be done. He was very knowledgeable.

BDB was efficient, professional, on-time and polite.

The finished product was fantastic and has held up well so far. The communication was friendly and frequent, however the actual date of service kept getting pushed back. I was also told that the entire process would take 3 hours and ended up being done on two seperate days about a week apart. However, the driveway looks great and the quality and price were fantastic.

BDB dug out the driveway and put down new stone and three inches of blacktop. Contractor was responsive and the work was first quality.

Will come back to give review in spring.

Proposal: I obtained the names of 3 contractors using Angie's List (received quotes from all). We selected BDB because they were 100% responsive (Office Manager: Kate always called and/or emailed me with the information I requested); Brad offered ideas on how I could reduce the cost; and upon checking references, I learned all were very satisfied with the work done. Construction: BDB arrived on time and delivered the product they contracted to provide in a skilled, professional manner. Our thanks to BDB for a job well done.

No one showed up on my scheduled date, nor was there a phone call. I arranged my schedule to be there, and was not compensated for the waste of time. I contacted them, left a message, and was rescheduled for two days later. The crew showed up on time, removed the existing driveway and roots, laid down crushed stone and asphalt. They took care with where the driveway meets the garage, a sidewalk, and the road. It looks good, drains well in the rain, and is what I expected.

From the initial call to Katie in the BDB office to the completion of the job, I was met with the utmost in professionalism, politeness and patience. Two days after talking to Katie, Henry came to my home to give me an estimate. Henry was the consummate professional who answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the job process that this family-run business would provide. To say the least, I was impressed. Their price was more than fair for the work that would be done. These folks were, in my estimation, head and shoulders above the other company's I had contacted. In closing, I would venture to say that you would be hard pressed to find a better company for your paving needs. BDB is very easy to work with and they put out a quality product.

Brad was very professional and took the time to answer our questions when the estimate was given in early May. We returned the contract mid July (after we had gotten three other estimates and decided to go with BDB). When I called about two weeks later to find out when we would be scheduled I was assured it would be by the end of August. There were several delays on BDB behalf (and I totally understand that) but they came in September to complete the job. The driveway looks great and the crew was professional. Katie followed up that day to ask about our satisfaction on the work and I told her it came out great however, there were two huge ruts dug into my lawn from one of the machines they used for the job. She apologized profusely and said Brad would be out later that week to put down dirt and seed. However, this did not occur hence the B in the responsiveness category. Overall, they did a great job!

AMAZING! Communication is perfect and timely. Katie and Brad a husband wife duo run and tight ship! Their guys are there on time if not early. They are all professional and do a beautiful job! The price was spot on and when I needed two retaining walls added on mid project they didn't take advantage they still gave a more than fair price. The walls are BEAUTIFUL and I'm excited to see the finished driveway!

Very well. Would recommend. Quick to adjust to nuances of job, for example individual homeowner needs and/or many types of grounds, and adapted very well. Great to work with. Employees were good to work with too. Good pricing. Handles issues very well but we really did not have any major issues to report of. Communication was good too and business itself seems organized, for example, with billing and other administrative asks.

Beginning with the estimate and right through the actual work I was impressed with the owner Brad as to his knowledge,professionlism and passion for his work. These same traits were also displayed by his work crew. I was so impressed that I had two different properties paved that I own. They've never looked better. All in all a very pleasant experience because of the professionalism and courtesy shown by owner Brad, his wife Katie and the entire work crew.

It went great! The crew worked well together and did a super job. They finished it all in one long day.
