TOO BUSY!! I would not bother to call this provider. They "said" that they showed up at my house, however, there were 4 people home between the hours of 4 and 5 when they were suppose to show up. I e-mailed them today to advise them that no one showed up. I was told that they did but no one answered the door (why didn't they call me cell). There were at least two if not three cars is the driveway. I was then advised that THEY are too busy to complete this job. My driveway is maybe..at the most 100 feet long. I find it hard to believe that any company would turn down work without even asking if there was a specific time frame for the job to be completed. I don't believe that anyone showed up at my home. I don't want people wasting there time calling this company when they are turning down work. Don't bother!

They did an excellent job preparing the base and in applying the blacktop. They were responsive to my request to widen the driveway at the end by two feet.

BDB dug out our existing driveway and widened it by about 10 feet. They handled the permit process and promptly notified us when the City of Saratoga Springs had issues with our plans. Thanks to BDB being on top of things we were able to get the permit and they did a terrific job. Owner was on site during the job and crew was professional and prompt. Very pleased with the result and would definitely use them again.

Great Love the driveway. Need to talk to you concerning another driveway in Latham that needs to be done We never got around to doing last year. All that RAIN.!!!

They are wonderful. Great job and they stand behind their work. Completed to customers satisfaction. This driveway was sealed by them but it was installed by them the year before. I would totally recommend them to anyone for any service for their driveways.

I found this company on Angie's List. Their service was great. They are coming over in the spring to seal it.

BDB is a local firm from Ballston Spa. They recommended removing the old driveway, and re-grading and laying down more 4 inches of crushed stone (over the old stone), then 3 inches of type 6 blacktop, as opposed to just paving 1 layer asphalt over the top of the driveway. Some other firms recommended just paving over the old driveway, and their bids were cheaper, but i'm convinced removing the old driveway was the way to go per BDB's recommendation. Their price was reasonable compared to other companies that bid on removing the old driveway. I selected them, based on their stellar track record in Angies list. They did not disappoint. The old driveway had an issue with a 4 x 6 spot that was sunken down 6-8 inches. We had this spot patched/repaired before by another company, this just didn't work as the hole came back. BDB dug this area up completely, an rolled extra stone into this hole and packed it down with repeatedly to fix the spot. Its been over a year now since the driveway has been installed, the problem is gone! Overall, the driveway still looks like new, no holes, no bumps, they did a terrific job They are also very friendly and customer-service oriented, nice bunch of people, definitely not a fly-by night. This spring I had them seal coat the new driveway and also a basketball court in our back yard, they did both for a very reasonable price, and did a great job with that as well. I highly recommend BDB Paving.

Brad and crew were as punctual as could be expected. They worked quickly and efficiently and my driveway came out very nicely. I have recommended them to friends who are looking to have their driveways repaved in the spring.

I used their company because they told me that they had new equipment that would not leave a seam in the driveway, where they overlap, and there's a seam. It's not a big deal. But they had made a big deal about keeping it seamless and that you wouldn't be able to see anything. They were delayed by weather. The way they work is they rip out the driveway and then do the rest another time, so they do the asphalt all at once. That part of it was okay. They did a neat and clean job. They did the work for the exact price that they quoted. There were no extras or anything like that. It is a good quality job, with the exception of that seam.

I recently had BDB Paving install a French drain and repave my driveway. Their work exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them! From my initial discussion with Brad (the owner) through the construction work to the final paving, this company showed a high level of competence, thoroughness, and overall professionalism. For the original design, Brad offered two options ?a short-term fix and a longer-term, permanent fix ? and did not pressure me either way. I opted for the permanent fix, which involved digging a 6 foot deep drain in the driveway, installing a 4 foot concrete cistern and then backfilling with stone. BDB Paving did an awesome job installing the drain and then digging up and repaving the driveway. Their technical execution (drain, crusher run, paving, compacting, finish) was perfect! In addition, the way they performed the job was outstanding. BDB Paving had a great team who really worked together well and with pride ? everyone knew their role and pitched in where needed. They worked carefully and paid close attention to detail ? making sure the drain was the ideal height, ensuring the right amount of stone backfill was used, and cleaning up as they went. The job was also very well organized and coordinated ? all the materials and people (stone, plastic liner, drain pipe, crane truck, etc.) were available exactly when needed. Other observations that impressed me: 1) Brad was on-site for all of the major work and decisions ? installing the drain, setting the levels, starting the paving. And when he was there, not only did he make sure things were being done according to plan, he also pitched in. Great to see an owner who still enjoys the work; 2) the on-site foreman handled some demanding questions from a neighbor very professionally (upset that there were big trucks on her street!); 3) the team was very careful with details such as making a smooth transition from driveway to garage, making nice 45 degree edges on the driveway, and creatively handling the ?unexpected? situations (sunken sidewalk to house, transition to neighbor?s driveway, etc.); 4) Katie, who runs the office, is very easy to work with and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. Overall, BDB Paving did an outstanding job on a technically complex project. Everyone was careful, professional, and thorough and showed a lot of pride in their work. I highly recommend BDB Paving.

It went great. BDB was easy to work with and I felt I got a great value. For the most part I do my own projects around the house but this was way too big for me. I felt BDB was easy to talk to and did a high quality job. I have some future projects in mind and plan to work with them again.

They were wonderful to deal with. I was concerned that the patches wouldn't look okay when they dried, and they came back and resealed the entire area. Katie was always pleasant clearly cared that I was happy with the job. Great work ethic!

Henry from BDB came out to house and looked at driveway. He told me that it did not need to be sealed this fall....that there was enough sealant on driveway already. I apprecialted his honesty and plan on calling/recommending BDB in the future.

Henry came out to look at our driveway for a seal/minor repair. He told us that our driveway didn't need to be serviced yet, as we had sealcoated less than two years ago. He gave us a quote for what it would cost when he comes back. We will definitely call again.

Quick response with setting up estimate.. Prompt, friendly answered my questions during the estimate. Cost was reasonable and better than most other estimates. Signed contract on the spot. I had 5 previous estimates and I knew the price to be fair. Katie does the scheduling...available and responds quickly when needed to emails or calls. Crew arrived today before 8... Got right to it. They were professional,friendly and cleaned up thoroughly. The driveway looks amazing. The workmanship is A+. I highly recommend this local business. I would most definitely recommend hiring BDB Paving. From the estimate to completing the driveway there was constant communication. Their office manager, Katie, was very responsive to all inquiries and even called twice to see if we were pleased with the results - once later in the day of installation and again a few days later. They showed up when they said they would with a large crew and all worked extremely hard to complete the job. We love our new driveway and highly recommend them. The company is run very professionally.

I requested a quotation for services, and Katie immediately responded. She set me up for a site estimate with Henry, who showed up on time (even a little early, which was even better for me). Henry performed measurements of the surfaces to be sealed and provided me with an estimate. I asked several questions, regarding cost and services to be performed. Henry answered all of my questions completely. As this company is family-owned, and the posted reviews were all very favorable, I opted to go with this company. I received a followup call from Katie (same day), and she immediately scheduled service for two days later. On the date of service, three young men arrived (a little earlier than planned, but a good thing to me) in a truck carrying the BDB logo, two of them wearing BDB shirts. The men identified themselves to me, confirmed the scope of work to be performed and then proceeded with the sealcoating. After about an hour and a half, the job was completed, the men cleaned up, staked up yellow tape on the driveway entrance and left. The following day, I had some concerns regarding the work, and contacted the company. Once again, Katie immediately contacted me, listened to my concerns and scheduled a followup visit. She arrived earlier today, accompanied by one of the sealcoat installers. Katie and the installer walked the area with me, took note of my concerns (minor touchup), and immediately addressed them. The entire experience, tom my first contact, to the completion of work/followup was seven days. My opinions of this company: - they care deeply about the work they do - they are very sensitive and responsive to their customers - they are accessible and very attentive to customer contacts - their work is professional, of very good quality and competitively priced Overall, I was highly impressed by the entire experience, and would recommend this company without hesitation. You rarely receive this level of attention any more.

The company was doing a driveway down the street from us so my husband went down to see if he could make an appointment for an estimate on what he wanted. The crew continued on our neighbor's driveway while the owner came back with my husband to do the estimate. A contract was signed, and within minutes the equipment was here digging out the area. The next day, the crew was here with the base material. The rain came so we had to wait for a few days for the blacktop. The job looks great and we would definitely hire them again.

BEAUTIFUL Looks like new. Met the owner. Office personnel pleasant. Efficient crew. No mess. Even came back and took down the 'do not enter' tape! Perfect experience.

They were fantastic. They were professional and the quality of their work was amazing. The work is guaranteed and found them to be extremely easy to work with. As said before, my driveway was installed in October 2014 and asked them to seal it this year and once again was impressed with their responsiveness and my sealed driveway is absolutely rich looking. I know that I will enjoy this driveway for many, many years.
