Description of Work: Ian was early to the appointment and was already evaluating the outside of the house. He inspection was very detailed and he knows how to explain any problems or issues he finds. He not only knows the house but the neighborhood as well. He not only performs inspections but trains other home inspectors and real estate agents too. I highly recommended him and Spec-Pro!

Description of Work: Fantastic, Ian was early and was walking around the house inspecting the exterior before we even arrived. He walked us through the entire house explaining every little defect (and options on how to fix them) incredibly thorough. He provided us with a 50+ page pdf at the end with photos and descriptions of every tiny detail he found. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a home inspection.

Description of Work: Ian was very thorough and professional. He inspected the house we wanted to buy and completed a radon and well test. He encouraged us to ask questions and made himself available for any follow up. I would recommend him and will use him in the future.

Description of Work: Ian was extremely professional and very responsive. Overall we thought he did a great job. There were things my Dad pointed out after we moved it (he is a contractor) but nothing that would have made the house fail a home inspection.

Description of Work: I was looking to purchase the 2 family home I've been living in and found Ian here on Angie's list. Ian was great!!! Incredibly knowledgable, very thorough and probably saved me from buying a money pit and a brain aneurism!! Turned out the roof was leaking, the foundation failing, the tenants boiler unsafe and a laundry list of other things!! All total, probably about $40,000 worth of work that needs doing!! And I have lived there for almost 2 years!! His price was VERY reasonable, his report detailed, he was early, didn't rush and even evaluated the detached garage as well revealing that too was shifting and leaning!! I recommend Ian and would use him again in a heartbeat!!!

Description of Work: Ian recently did a home inspection for my wife and me. He is exceptionally thorough, affable and clearly knows his stuff. I was very impressed with his work ethic and professionalism. Would unhesitatingly recommend him to a homebuyer. Ian went through every area of the house and did lead and radon testing.
