Found PTO here on Angie's List. Called, received a prompt reply, and Phil (along with Matt who actually did the install) came to the house the next day to see what the project entailed. I had to be out for the day... Matt arrived right on time, and when I came home all was done perfectly. You'd never know he was even there. The installation looks and operates great. He took the old fixtures away, as well. I am going to contract with them for an upcoming bathroom remodeling project. Highly recommend.

Once I contacted PTO ( Phil), he was very responsive about both calling me back and getting the estimate completed for painting the master bedroom. I had a crazy schedule so I needed him to be flexible...he accommodated my schedule very well. He did a great job setting expectations. He said It would take 2 days... Friday and Saturday and that was exactly the case. He and Ann painted 2 coates of paint and also was helpful in moving the furniture back once the job was completed. Both Phil and Ann were pleasant, courteous and very good about being on time. Everything was neat and the clean when they were done. It was a very good experience! Thank you!

Phil was pleasant and very skilled. He explained things as he went along and will follow up with me for the next project.

Contractor was very cureous to my tenant and flexible with me regarding billing considering I live out of state. My problem is the responsiveness. I had a hard time getting him to return phone calls for a period of about 2 weeks. Once he returned the calls we set up the time for the work to be done and he showed up on time. There was a family issue that prevented him from returning calls which was completely understandable. About 2 months later I needed some work done in the house unrelated to the first job. I informed him what I was looking to get done. He said he would contact the tenant directly to schedule a time to do an estimate however it has been over a week and the tenant has not heard from him. I was really hoping to use his services again because of his proffessionalism and flexibility, however I can't make him return calls, so I am going to have to contact another contractor.

Phil did an excellent job replacing the shut off valves in our laundry room, the new valves are better than the originals! Phil was prompt, professional and reasonable. I will contact Phil for future jobs.

Great! He was punctual, professional, respectful, and competent. His rates were reasonable and he cleaned up after himself well.

He has called us back the day we call him each and every time. He has kept in good communication about when he is coming for any given job. For one job he even showed up the day of a big snow storm. His estimates are very fair and he sticks to his estimates. He keeps his work area clean. He seems to care about doing a good job, and explains details of what he's going to do so that you know it will be done right. He asks intelligent questions about the work so that you know it will be done the way you want it. When he installed the vent fans, he also patched up the walls for us (even though he knew my husband could do this) and saved us a lot of work. Both jobs were completed well. He also seems to understand our business needs, and that sometimes we need jobs done in a certain time frame. We recommend Phil and already have planned more work with him.

Have not heard back, never got an estimate

Phil was prompt, friendly and reliable. He did a great job on everything, and when we called him with questions about anything, he cheerfully answered. We called him once about a new leak in a drain, and rather than say he would have to come and fix it, he gave us simple instructions for stopping the leak. As recently as last night we called him with a question about our sump pump. We had to spend a lot of money, but we had a lot of work that had to be done, and he spent many hours over several days getting through it all. We hope not to have any serious plumbing issues in the near future (enough is enough!) but if we did, Phil is the man we would call.

The kitchen drain ran slowly, then stopped completely. My efforts with plunger and blower were unsuccessful. Mr. O'Brien came and tried to snake out the pipes, but was unsuccessful. He said the very old pipes in the basement that had two long very level runs would need to be replaced. He came back within a week and replaced the pipes. When I looked at the segments he removed, they were completely filled at the ends of all three pieces. Now the drain is amazing. The kitchen sink empties in a flash. I also asked him to fix an old tub faucet that had been leaking for years. The faucet was very difficult to remove, but he got it apart, found a replacement part and repaired it. It now works perfectly and doesn't leak. He also snaked the tub drain. He completed all of the repairs in a day. He was very good at informing me about what he was doing. He was thorough and effective. I was very pleased.

The service was very good. They were very professional and reasonably priced.

Mr. O'Brien was professional, friendly, and courteous. I was a pleasure having him over to perform the work in my house. He took great care and pride in the work that he did. I felt comfortable leaving him at my house, with my wife an children, to perform the work. I had gotten several estimates from other "A" providers on Angie's list. However, Mr. O'Brien's estimates were two to four times less than everyone else's. He will be the first person that I contact if/when there is additional work to do.

Mr. O'Brien came when he said he would and worked dilgently until the project was done. He was very pleasant and personable.

We found PTO through Angie's List. We contacted them and were visited by Phil, the owner, the following day. He provided us with an estimate within a few days, and began the project within a just a few more! Phil and his assistant Deck spent substantial portions of five consecutive days in our home. They were on time every day, which was a pleasantly foreign experience for us with any of the other general contractors with whom we have dealt over the years. Throughout the week, Phil always had the scope of both projects and timelines in mind, and always came prepared with the tools and supplies required to get each day's job done without the need to run to the store. He and his assistant were polite, respectful, and personable, and they kept on task the whole time. Phil is a professional plumber and general contractor. He expedites affordable proposals and executes well-defined project plans. We will be using him for future work in our home. You should too.

Phil looked over the job and prepared an estimate. It was acceptable so we proceeded with the work. He and a helper came when they said they would and did the work. They cleaned up after themselves. I have since called Phil for some other work, although we did not proceed witth that. I would certainly call him again.

Phil does a great job, very reliable, professional and obviously likes his job. I have used him on several occasions - most recently to change out a large amount of cabinet doors and drawers. He was prompt and did a great job. His rates is VERY REASONABLE as well. I will call him again for sure.

I could not have asked for better service. We noticed the flooring around our dishwasher was warping. We called PTO to come and have a look. He came on a Saturday morning, took apart the dishwasher, and showed us that it was leaking pretty badly. It was an old machine, so we decided to buy a new one. We made an appointment to have him come back on the following Thursday for installation. He showed up on time, was very professional and friendly, and did an excellent job. His estimate was very reasonable, and he kept to it, despite the fact that the job took longer than he had originally thought it would.

I was very pleased with him. He was prompt and courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend him and we will use him again.

He was prompt, courteous and worked very efficiently. He knows what he is doing and left the work areas as clean as he found them. This contractor was honest in his estimate, prompt in returning a phone call on a Sunday afternoon and arrived even a bit before he said he would. I will certainly hire him again, soon.
