He is fair with his estimate and charged only what he estimated. The job went good. He answers his phone and shows up on time.

He is great! He seems very knowledgeable and professional. He has been doing this a good long time. If he can handle some of the restaurants that he services, then I am confident in his ability for domestic needs. I will be using him for my project.

Phil came out when he said he would to look at the job and offer a quote. The price was fair, so I went ahead with him. He indicated he thought it was a one day job, but I thought this was over optimistic and expected it would take him most of two days. He and his assistant arrived when they said they would and removed the fan and patched the opening. They then removed the old wood pull down stairway and installed the new one. They needed bigger moldiing for the stairway opening, and we agreed that it was late enough that they would stop and come back two days later. Phil returned when he said he would, put another coat of mud on the ceiling patch, installed the stairway molding, and started on the gable vent. This turned out to be a little tricky because his ladder was not quite long enough to reach where it had to get. As a result he installed the vent working from inside the attic. Because of this the job look a little longer than we hoped, but he finished it up and the work looked good. Phil was a pleasure to deal with. I would be happy to use him again.

He responded promptly to my call, came by as scheduled to discuss my requests and give an estimate, gave me valuable advice about a drain issue in my home and returned exactly as scheduled at my convenience to do the work. He was very pleasant and professional, the workmanship looks very good and he cleaned everything up nicely. I was very pleased! It is not easy to find someone like him willing to do a variety of small jobs.

After several quotes from reputable siding firms we spoke with Phil and decided to hire him to replace the siding, several windows and make a major repair to one of the walls in our garage. His quote was substantially less than the other firms we looked at. Though we had hired Phil to preform smaller jobs in the past, I must admit we were apprehensive about hiring him for this major undertaking since he doesn't do siding on a regular basis. My fears quickly subsided after watching him and his assistant work the 1st day. He handled every detail of this job far above my expectations. My wife and I (and everyone else it seems who has come by the house since it's completion ) have nothing but praise about the job that was done. Professional, punctual and responsive to our questions and additional requests. They were on the job "everyday" promptly at the appointed time. They worked even through the hottest of days. They were a pleasure to communicate with. Phil and his assistant went the extra mile to ensure everything was to our exact standards. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Not good, because he never called me back.

I called Phil after finding him here on Angie's list. I explained what I needed and the fact that I needed it done quickly because I was having some construction done and the area where my current washer and dryer was in the way of the construction. Phil got back to me quickly and we set up a date for him to stop by and give me an estimate. Phil worked around My schedule and met with me within a day. After discussing what I needed done. Phil left and called me back within 24hr with his estimate. Because of my need for speed he was willing to work on a Sunday to make sure that the work I needed done was complete before construction started. Phil was working on another job but was able to fit me in. He got the most urgent changes done first which allowed the construction people to start on time. Once that was done he worked on my projects once his day was done on his other job. He ended up coming two other times to complete the work. He worked around my schedule too, so that I could be at home while he worked. He brought all the plumbing supplies and tools with him. Phil is a very nice person with a relaxed personality. He was very easy to talk with.

One gentleman came and gave us the estimate and ordered the material. When it arrived they called and set up an appointment for today and installed it. It really came out very nice.

In trying to fix the water spigot on the back of our house, we had accidentally ripped it completely out of the wall. I called Phillip O'Brien, who said he would come over the next morning to take a look. He ran a new pipe, through the concrete block and welded everything back together. I noticed after he left, that he had also reconnected our sprinkler system, which was definitely above and beyond our request. Mr. O'Brien is a professional and an honest businessman. I highly recommend him. I have already given his information to some neighbors. I will be sure to call him again.

I spoke to Phil on the phone and asked him when he could come over for an estimate. After I explained to him that we needed the work done soon, Phil came over for the estimate 20 minutes after we first spoke. He took his time and mapped out a plan for the work that we asked him to do. He called me back the next day with an estimate. I booked the job with him on a Thursday, he came over to do the job on Saturday. He arrived on time and began work immediately. The two tasks were completed in a timely fashion. The quality of work was excellent. Phil payed attention to detail throughout the entire project. I had a couple of other estimates and know for a fact that PTO does quality work at a fair price. I will be using PTO in the future for a different plumbing job in our house. I cannot recommend PTO with any greater confidence.

Phill showed up exactly on time. He was polite and ready to do the job per my instructions. He has yet to do the final stage of the project but so far he has done an excellent job.
