TIMBER TREE SERVICE

We called three tree services in order to make comparisons. First, we were very impressed with TIMBER TREE SERVICE's response time. They sent two very knowledgeable men over the very next day around 4:30 p.m. They spent time looking over both of our trees and explaining what needed to be done. The first tree is near the road and had several branches tangled in power lines. They told us how they would take care of it, and did a great job with it. The second tree was very old, and had several issues; they gave us 3 options and explained each one, including prices. We were so pleased because the other two companies we called just gave us one option that was extremely expensive, and we got the impression they didn't want to do the work. We hired TIMBER TREE SERVICE, they came when scheduled, did a wonderful job (even more than they promised!), and cleaned-up nicely when they were done. Their charges were much lower than the other two estimates we received, and we were VERY pleased with the results. I waited for about a year to write my review because I wanted to see what the trees would be like after several seasons. They are in great shape, and we would call TIMBER TREE SERVICE again if we ever need this type of work done.

Don't be in a hurry with these guys. Weeks after we agreed to their quote, the work still hadn't been scheduled. Asked for a re-quote with changes. After another week, quote still not delivered. Did not hire. If they didn't want the work should have said so.

I called them for a quote. Receptionist said they were not in office and they would call me back. Called again 2 weeks later and was told same thing. So from original call it has been approximately a month. I will never call them again or recommend them!!!

It took a few days for us to connect at first. I AM VERY GLAD I WAITED FOR THEM. They were the lowest estimate by a lot. I talked to Jonas and agreed on price and he said it would be done in next few days. They were there the next day. The crew was great. Friendly, worked hard, and put up with me. I asked for some branches to be taken down that I had not mentioned-no problem. They raked up after themselves. I am left with a pile of mulch(from the grinding), but I expected that and will use around the yard. I will have them back to do more work. Part of me wants to keep them secret so I can have them whenever I need them. GREAT JOB, THANK YOU.

Excellent work and did a great job cleaning up the yard when they were done.

Called for an estimate and the owner was at my house an hour later. Gave me an estimate which I recognized as very reasonable and said he could do the work on the next business day. His crew arrived as scheduled and performed in an efficient and professional manner. Cleaned up all debris. We did call 2 other companies for estimates and neither one called back. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a person who asked me this morning.

Called and the owner stopped by later in the day to see what needed to be done. He was very nice and professional. Said he would have someone out the next day to ground the two tree stumps. Person came and did and excellent job. I live in Radisson, which requires permission to cut down the trees, and notified them the project was complete. They came and approved what they saw. I would most certainly call this company again. In fact it would have been cheaper to call them from the beginning and have them cut down the two trees.

Showed up when promised with well trained crew that worked without stop until the job was completed.

I called to make an appointment for an estimate to trim two mature pear trees in my backyard and have a small juniper tree removed. The owner, Stan, called me back a few days later to say he would stop by that morning to give me an estimate. Several hours later I hadn't heard from him so I called him back. He had forgotten about our appointment and offered to come right over for the estimate. When he arrived, he took the time to go over how the trees should be trimmed and gave me an estimate to do so. He seemed very knowledgeable.Several days later, I called to hire them to do the work. I spoke with a woman who said she would pass the message along to Stan so he could put us on the schedule. A week went by and I did not receive a return phone call. I called again and Stan informed me that he forgot to put me in his schedule and that he would set something up for the following week. I asked that he call me with a tentative date so I could plan to be home when the work was conducted. Two weeks went by and I did not receive a return phone call. I called AGAIN and spoke with another gentleman. I brought him up to speed on the situation and he found my work order in a desk drawer, but I still hadn't been put on the schedule for some reason unbeknownst to him. I then asked if they still wanted the job that they should give me a discounted rate to account for the SEVERAL instances of communication breakdown on their part and the delay in service. The gentleman informed me that he doubted Stan would give me a discount. I asked him to relay that message to Stan and have Stan consider if it was good for business to let a potential customer slide like that. I assumed that a business owner would want to and quot;make things rightand quot; and would call me to discuss performing the work at a discount or at the very least, apologize for not getting back to me in a timely manner. I NEVER received a return phone call. Needless to say, I was VERY disappointed with the lack of response by a business owner to a potential client. This business has good ratings, especially in the local area, but I will now take my business elsewhere and will advise others to do the same. VERY unhappy with my experience.

Excellent job. Very good price. Pleasant, professional employees. We got several quotes and Timber Tree Service was by far the least expensive. This is the 2nd time we have used them for tree removal. They arrived promptly, worked steadily and cleaned up everything including the road.

My husband worked with him for many years. He is very kind, and nice guy. He has a good quality of work. He also does landscaping, outside cleaning,...I will recommend him to other people. Overall, I am grading him an A.

Awesome - worked quickly and efficiently. Was very cognizant of my neighbor's yards and fences. Cleaned up everything, fiexd the sod form the trucks in my backyard and reset my fence section after finishing.

No problems to report. I would use them again

I used Timber previously about 5 years ago and was very pleased with their work. I also have several neighbors who use them exclusively. So calling them when I decided I needed to have 11 trees cut down, with 4 or 5 of those being about 60 feet tall was a no brainer. However, initial contact for the current job was a little sloppy and unexpected based on previous experience. It was sloppy because I asked the office for a call back to get an idea when I could expect to see someone show up to give me a quote. Then I called the next day with that specific request - no response. So I called the next day as well to determine why I couldn't get a call back. Exactly how busy are these guys? Very, apparently. But that afternoon Stan, the owner, showed up at my house. We did a walk through of the work that needed to be done, he gave me a price which was suitable to me and the next morning the crew arrived to remove the trees. And as always the crew was excellent, careful, courteous, and hard working. So the moral here is to bug the office until Stan shows up because from that point on it is very smooth and nothing sloppy about it.

Stan was AMAZING to work with! I highly recommend him for his responsiveness and customer focused demeanor. At a very stressful and chaotic time, Stan was able to work with me and helped me understand what our options were. I spoke to Stan multiple times on the phone from out of town as I tried to arrange service for my father's residence in Syracuse. A large tree fell on my father's property due to a storm and so we had to sort out insurance claim procedures at the same time. Stan was patient and explained how it worked and what questions we should ask our insurance company. He was very understanding of our situation and shared examples of other jobs he was working on at the moment. He happened to be working on a tree removal down the street the day I called, so he agreed to send his team down SAME DAY to give an estimate to us. They were very quick! Stan called me back right away and said they would be there at the end of their shift to remove the tree and do the work if we wanted them to. I couldn't believe it - same day service. I was so thankful. Stan's team was there when they said they would be, they cut and removed the tree and cleaned up after themselves. Stan kept in contact with me via phone through the whole process, letting me know what was going on and what would happen next. I felt like I was in very good hands. The personal service was incredible! In fact, we have already used Timber Tree Service a 2nd time to cut down another tree on our property. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a nice family-run business who cares about their customers. We will certainly keep Stan's name/number on file for our future needs!

.They are very professional and take care of all details and any concerns you may have. Have Stan cone out when you have work to do and go over what you want and have him make recommendations. Once you've decided on the scope ask for a written price. They are not cheap but we have always considered them to be fair.

Overall it was great and I would hire them back again. They are right in line with regard to cost and, in fact a little lower than one other company.

They did a great job at everything. They are very capable people and they could do anything. They did an excellent job. They explained everything to me in case I want to do it myself. I really did not know how these bushes should be trimmed around the house because there were different bushes and they were nice enough to explain to me and show me how they did that in case I want to do it myself. It was excellent service all around. They came in here, they finished it in one day and did a great job.

I spoke to Stan Dumbrowski on April 8 about grinding out a 12and quot;H x 7and quot;D tree stump in my side yard. He quoted $50.00 and did it the next day. I had Timber Tree Service trim a large tree in my front yard last year and was quite happy with the job they did. Once again they did a nice job.

I thought they did an excellent job.When I called them, they were very responsive. They came over with their equipment. They had to remove part of my fence to get at the trees and they were very careful about what they did and how they did it. They were very thorough. It was done very professionally and I was very pleased. I was very pleased with the price. There was a couple of small trees that I through in the mix after we have agreed to the price and they waved that off and said "no problem". They took care of it. I was very happy with them. I may be using them again this year. If I had to do anything like that, I would absolutely use this outfit again, no question about that.

Professional, polite, fast. Called on Thursday, received estimate Friday, three of the four tree groups were taken down Saturday afternoon, the fourth done Monday. A six man crew, with 65' cherry picker, large chipper, etc., really did a nice job. All debris was cleaned out, trees were sectioned do they can be split and used for firewood. The tree hanging over the house was a challenge, part of the trunk plus multiple large limbs were right over it. They did a great job roping items, controlling the landing spots. A fair price for quality work.

Estimator Stan returned my call of 10/16 on 10/17, Bob, Dave, and Todd arrived bright and early on 10/18, cut down and cut up a complicated box elder tree in a more than complicated location without doing permanent damage to my perennial garden directly below it. They all were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and the bravery shown by Bob in climbing this old, weak,disintegrating tree in order to cut it from the top down, was remarkable. Upon completion, they cleaned up nicely, returned the items that they had moved, paying close attention to EXACTLY where and how I wanted them. I couldn't be happier. I was referred to them by my son, who was also deliriously happy with the work that they did for him a year ago. I would definitely call upon them again and heartily recommend them to you. I appreciate the opportunity to extol their virtues!

They were scheduled to be here at 8 a.m. They called and said they were going to be late. When they arrived they did everything we asked for and more. I am very satisfied.

Stan Dumbrowksi, the owner of Timber Tree Service, gave me an estimate to trim a huge maple tree in my front yard. I accepted the price and Stan said they could do the job the next day. I was gone when they did the work. When I came home I was extremely please with the work they did. The tree looks great and they did a super clean up of the ground.

This tree was on it's way out and dangerously close to our house and power line. Jonah came out within 2hrs of our first contact call and gave us a free estimate, and also checked out a few other trees on our property and gave recommendations. The NEXT DAY the crew showed up on time, enthusiastic, and ready to work. 2hrs later, the job was done quick, clean, and efficient. In addition, we felt the price was very reasonable and negotiable. We'd definitely us this company again, and recommend them to a friend.
