Mr. Sapp was very thorough and diligent. He explained everything to me beforehand. Then he went over every inch of the house and explained everything to me and answered my questions as we went along. He worked very hard for 3 hours or more and was so good natured and friendly. He sent me the report by email a few hours later . I was very pleased.

Rudy was great. He fit us in the day after we called. This was important because we only had 10 days to do the inspection and were going to be out of town for most of that time. Rudy was on time and explained to us his process and we got started on the inspection. We spent 4.5 hours combing over the entire property. Rudy was very organized and split the time into the exterior, interior, basement, and attic, taking pictures of both items that needed repair and that were in good condition for our records. After each of these areas he took about 10-15 minutes to fill out his inspection report on his laptop. While we weren't thrilled about sitting around when he did that, we came to appreciate it when we got the full 48 page report (complete with pictures) the same day (!!!). Time well spent. If you're looking for someone who is going to be very thorough and spend as much time with you as you need, Rudy is the guy.

I was looking for a home inspector that was independent of any recommendations I received from the real estate company or the bank. I wanted someone who I felt was working for me and did not have a vested intererst in any third party. I chose Safe Home Inspection based on the comments posted on Angie's List as well as Mr. Rudy Sapp's statement on his website. I liked that Rudy was an engineer and approached his inspection like his family was going to move into the home. Rudy was a professional from the start. He promptly returned my phone calls, and was very polite and courtesy on the phone. His inspections are very thorough (expect to spend 3 hours) and he reviews everything with you. I was with him for both inspections and he patiently explained his process. He took the time to tell me if something was acceptable, marginal or defective. He answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question. He documented everything with a camera and inserts pictures into his report that clearly shows why/where a problem is occurring. His reports are very thorough and everything is documented with explanations and pictures. I have no reservations in highly recommending Safe Home Inspections and Rudy. He was a pleasure to do business with and gave me the information I need to move forward with the purchase of our new home.

My overall experience was very good. I recommend him to anyone. He is a professional acted and performed professionally.

They did a very job and the inspection was very thorough. I also like the format of the report with ratings because it was easy to follow and was very accurate.

Rudy took time to explain to me some of the problem areas, and suggested ways to remedy the situation. Some problems were rather serious, and while I was surprised, it was important information, and now I can approach contractors with a complete, thorough report, and start getting bids. Without this inspection, I truly would have been lost, and at the mercy of whatever a contractor told me. Thank you, Rudy!!

Mr. Sapp was extremely courteous and thorough in our home inspection. We are first time home buyers who are new to Syracuse from Tennessee. Mr. Sapp not only explained a lot of the differences between houses in Central New York and the South, but he also explained how to make our home more efficient in the long, cold winters. He uses a computer while completing the inspection and generates a .pdf report w/pictures for your records. His depth and experience as an engineer and contractor in the past are great assets. GREAT experience overall.
