The came gave an estimate that was much less than the other price I was quoted. They came on time and completed the job when they said they would. I was very happy with everything they did.

They do a fine job.

Tom came to give his estimate on time. He saw the condition of the hall floor. I also inquired about having the living room and dining room top coated. He told me the price $350 was a minimum for any location/job and if I wanted the dining room or living room top coated there would be no additional charge. Since I had all my furniture and kitchen appliances in the dining room and living room, I figured I could only have one of them done. He said his workmen would move any of the appliances I could not move myself. I moved the furniture out of the dining room. He called the night before coming to do the job to let me know he would be later than his original time estimate of 8:30 AM. His crew consisted of two men who arrived a the 10:00 AM time we agreed on during the phone call. The men were respectful, neat and clean. They sanded the hall floor, cleaned up the dust, buffed the dining room floor and applied one coat of sealer to the sanded floor. They waited and then put the first poly coat on the floor and left for the day. The next day Tom himself came and lightly sanded the hall floor and finished with a coat of polyurethane. He asked if the job was done to our satisfaction. Indeed it was done very well. This is not the first time Mr. O'Brien did our floors. He finished our oak floors in the dining room and living room about 3 years ago after we removed the wall to wall carpeting that was down for more than 20 years. The floors look terrific.
