Outstanding job start to finish by Long Island Decking! Our new deck is exactly what Jay designed for us and is exactly what we wanted. This was a 3-day job to first remove our old deck and then build a new one. The crew from Long Island Decking arrived when expected each day and their work was performed perfectly. Upon completion of the job our yard was left completely clear of all debris. We recently had our deck redone by Long Island Decking and we were absolutely blown away. They had done our first deck almost 20 years ago and it had lasted this whole time, but it was just time for an upgrade. The owner of the company Jay came to our house, on our time and was extremely helpful and informative about the entire process. They have a huge selection of different styles and textures of decking to choose from and every single one was so beautiful we had a hard time deciding, but in the end we went with the grey and are beyond satisfied with the results. Every detail from the craftsmanship to the customer service were extraordinary and deserve more than 5 stars. Jay and his crew worked fast and diligently and even got our deck done in time for my Grandsons 1st Birthday Party which meant the world to us. A few months ago, my wife and I decided to take advantage of a free consultation that Jay, the owner of Long Island Decking was offering. Jay came to our house at the scheduled time and quickly proved to be friendly, patient and a professional with a clear expertise regarding his craft. Furthermore, over the course of the project, Jay was excellent with communication and was always quick to respond to our needs. Jay produced computer-generated renderings that looked exactly like our home, so it was easy to envision what our new deck and patio would look like. He was also able to make changes to these renderings based upon our preferences at a subsequent consultation. Additionally, Jay patiently showed us all options that would be available to us and made helpful suggestions as well. Jay’s crew came on time each day until the project was completed and seemed to take extreme care in getting all aspects done right. In the end, the result was a stunning makeover to our back yard. Our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Whenever someone needs something done, they always seek out the best. At the conclusion of having a very positive experience, I can say without hesitation, Jay and Long Island Decking is your answer when it comes to producing a beautiful deck, as well as possible accompanying masonry.

This was a large project involving demolition and rebuilding a 600 square foot deck with multiple stairs and integral stair and rail lighting. The sturdiness of the foundation was impressive. Jose and his crew’s attention to detail was amazing. They were a pleasure to work with, offering helpful suggestions along the way. Overall, we’re very please with the end result.

Very detailed with the planning and render so we knew exactly what we were getting in advance. Somehow it came out even better than advertised. We love our Trex Transcend Deck and highly recommend LID to anyone looking for a deck that will blow you away.

Fabulous!!!! His crew came every day until the project was done. They were neat, and cleaned the area daily. Jay came every day to check on it, and make sure we were happy. It is absolutely gorgeous!!! Matches my house, and we added extra lighting - Jay made sure this deck would look fantastic when done.
