Jay from Long Island decking is extremely professional and very honest in answering our questions and concerns . He is a pleasure to work with and would 100% hire him again. Jay was able to explain the process of building a deck, and compare to other quotes we received. He won our trust, explaining the budget we were working with, and what other projects might look like in the future with what we would build. Jay texted and called frequently on scheduling the build. The crew was really professional, and quick. They addressed questions that I had, and fixed an issue with the door leading onto the deck immediately. Overall, great experience.

Long Island Decking did a small deck off my backyard back in August of 2010. A piece of the decking came off and some boards needed to be addressed. I called and spoke with Jay Oliver who happened to be the president of the company. He honored the work his company did even after 10 years had elapsed. He came and fixed what was needed and even refused a tip! They totally are a company unlike any others I've dealt with. They totally did the right thing! Great company!

We had a beautiful deck installed by Long Island Decking. They did a wonderful job. We love our deck and use it all the time. They were a pleasure to deal with; they gave us exactly what we wanted and did exactly what they said they would do. They do quality work, and I recommend them highly. A great experience from start to finish. From the initial appointment through installation and post project follow up everything was excellent. Jay was responsive and very helpful. Its funny how things work out as originally we contracted with another deck company who kept delaying our job with excuse after excuse. I got tired of waiting and called LI Decking and they were able to complete the job in the time frame. Its clear the understand the build and design. I could not be happier with the end result.

Great work and an amazing experience. I thought I knew what I wanted, which I explained to Jay. He took one look at the space and the existing deck, took out a catalog and recommended paver stone patio. It took about 20 seconds to agree, that he was absolutely correct. He described the layout and recommended the stones. His recommendations were spot-on, and not the most expensive. A day later, he sent design pictures and the next day the contract was signed. It should be noted, the patio cost significantly less and was significantly larger than the composite deck, I thought I wanted. The installation went as expected and the final result has surpassed all expectations. From start to finish, Jay was true professional. he immediately put me at ease and there was absolutely no pressure to sign. I would highly recommend.

Jay and his crew are probably the best on long Island!!! I had a small odd shape wooden deck (due to town regulations) and wanted to dress it up with Trex. I had gotten very shady estimates from other people. Then I contacted Jay. He was extremely professional, knew his trade and had a well written contract, spelling out specifically what would be done and what materials would be used. I was so impressed I hired him on the spot. Let me tell you, that was the best decision I could have made!!!! They do fantastic work and my deck came out beautiful. They also did a patio for me because my deck could not be expanded due to town regulations. I have a beautiful deck leading down to a magnificent stone patio. Everyone who comes to my house comments on my deck and patio combo! Jay and his foreman Jose have integrity, knowledge, skill and professionalism! I would highly recommend Long Island Decking to anyone who is looking for amazing craftsmanship, professionalism and integrity!

Fantastic. Jay was great in offering advice for the design portion and gave great input on the build specs. Jose and his guys were quick and efficient. The deck came out great! New sliding door from dining room into a 200sq ft trex deck with a nice staircase into the backyard. Family loves it.

Jay and his team were great! From our first meeting Jay was friendly and knowledgeable. He responded immediately to all communication and was willing to work with my husband and I on design and budget. Once work started, the crew arrived on time each day and cleaned up before they left each afternoon. We’re looking forward to working with Jay and Long Island Decking again in the near future!

I am very pleased with my new deck! The workers were all very pleasant, they showed up on timed each day (which I really appreciated), and finished the job in the time promised. They even returned to make some minor repairs. Could not be more satisfied, I highly recommend this company.
