LONG ISLAND DECKING

For several years I had wanted to refresh my backyard living space and finally reached out to Jay Oliver and Long Island Decking to accomplish that. Working with Jay was easy, from explaining what we wanted to finally seeing the finished results. We couldn't be happier. The install team led by Jose were reliable, respectful, on time and meticulous in every detail. I would recommend them highly!

Jay and the entire crew from Long Island Decking were amazing. Not only was the quality of work outstanding but the entire team was such a pleasure to deal with. Jay was extremely professional and helped guide us through the entire selection process without ever feeling like were were pressured to go with one choice or another. Once things got started, they demolished our old deck, put up the new one, and cleaned up everything in just a few days. Beyond expectations! Everything looks fantastic and we are looking forward to enjoying our new deck for many years to come.

This past week LI Decking replaced our existing wood deck with a new Trex deck. It was difficult getting a firm start date, but worth the wait. Jay and his crew arrived on Monday morning when he said he would, and they stayed until the job was done. Jay was here when necessary, but he placed the job in the very capable hands of Jose, who was very professional and willing to answer any questions that came up. The entire crew worked hard and clearly took pride in their work. The deck looks great, and they left the yard as clean as when they started. I would recommend LI Decking without reservation.

Jay designed a great gazebo for us and Jose and the team did a great job building it. The gazebo is fantastic, looks great, highly functional, and is a centerpiece in our yard. We cannot thank Jay, Jose, and the rest of the team enough.

Hired Long Island Decking to remove 30 year old wood deck and replace it with Trex on the top deck and pavers on the bottom. Gave Jay a picture we found of how we would like it to look. We honestly didn't expect it would come out nearly as nice as the picture, only hoping it would be somewhat close. To our pleasant surprise it looks almost exactly like the picture!! We can't believe the difference! We love being at outside now! When Jay told us it would really transform our whole yard he wasn't kidding! Jay was great to work with, always available to answer any questions and make changes if we asked. The crew was great, super nice and did excellent work!! From inception when the estimate was provided, to assisting with the type and color of the deck, railing and lighting, they were fantastic, courteous and professional. We recently had a Trex deck installed by Long Island Decking. Jay and his crew were very professional, patient, courteous and willing to do whatever was necessary to make us happy customers. Jay met with us more than once to go over the project and answer all of our questions. His crew came on time, put in a full day and cleaned up before they left each day. They worked with us throughout the project to meet our expectations. We are extremely happy with the results. It has only been a week since the deck was completed and we have already recommended them to a couple of people and will continue to recommend Long Island Decking to all.

Jay and his staff replaced our pool deck with a trex deck and lighting. They did an outstanding job with every aspect of the job from design to demo and new build. Jay and the LI Decking guys just finished up my new outdoor living space. He created a huge outdoor space to cook and entertain including an outdoor kitchen with grill, sink, fridge, side burners, my home made smoker and the gem of the project a pizza oven. The paver patio is 55' x 20'. His work is terrific with great attention to detail, his craftsmen are very talented and respectful. The project came in right in budget and Jay was instrumental to help pick pavers and stone face to match our house and yard. Cannot reccomend them enough and look forward to many years of enjoyment. Long island Decking did a beautiful job replacing our old rotting wood deck with Trex: no hidden extra costs, it went up very fast, and Jay kept us up-to-date every step of the way. He even fixed an off-kilter gate in our fence! And despite the ominous pile of debris during construction, the backyard was neat as a pin when they left.

If we could have give 6 stars we would! After collectively working in the construction industry for over 30 years on client projects ranging from the iconic NYC Woolworth Building, Atlantic City Casino/Hotels, high end northeast residential etc, we feel that client experience is paramount. So happy we took Jay’s advise with replacing the entire deck which was approximately 30 years old. While demo found 3 supporting posts rotted at the ground. Another registered Trex installer told us we could reface the deck, it would be fine! Thankfully we went with L.I. Decking!! Jay and his team were respectful, punctual and the clean up was on point. Didn’t even know work was in our yard except for seeing our beautiful new deck. Thanks again Jay!!!

Long Island Decking did a fabulous job on our brand new Trex deck. Jay was fantastic to work with from day 1. Long Island Decking did a fabulous job extending my existing deck around a brand new pool. It is hard to believe they are 2 separate decks 10 yrs apart. The craftsmanship of the deck was just amazing. I can honest say I am not sure anyone else could have done a better job. The work was done with care and attention to detail. At the end of the work they cleaned up and I was left with a beautiful deck. I would recommend Long Island decking (LID) the owner personally came and explained the work. I contacted three other professionals before choosing LID but they were all dismissive and did not bother to communicate with me. Only LID took the time to listen to what I wanted done.

The deck looks beautiful. It was done quickly and professionally.
