Excellent service and communication. Estimate process and job scheduling was smooth. Team arrived timely and stayed in touch before and after the work was completed. Both Joe and Roy were great to work with and meticulous/contientious regarding the work quality, and also observing covid precautions while in my home. The job was a little tricky due to tight work-spaces and heights, but they worked through that and made it look easier that it was. Also, Joe suggested an alternate approach (a remote switch) as an option which eliminated the need to break a wall to run the needed wires. That was appreciated because it saved extra work (and I just painted that wall). Great job done and easy experience overall. Would rehire any time.

Joe and his crew are outstanding!! Excellent communication which is key when you want the work done and have questions along the way. I contacted Joe through Angie’s list and he got right back to me. I live in California and the house where he did the work is on Long Island. That requires coordinating schedules with my realtor. It all went smooth as silk. My realtor will now start referring customers. I couldn’t be happier withJCDA services. High quality work, timely response and fair price. If you need an electrician on Long Island then JCDA should be your first and only call!

Thank you for the wonderful job!! JCDA installed a total of 8 high hats and an outlet. They were honest, clean, professional and the lowest of the 4 estimates from Angies. Most definitely recommend them and will do future business with them.

Great. Fixture switch done in no time. I had a concern about my ground because my line from water main to my home was replaced with a plastic pipe. JC checked it out and showed grounding was good.

We had an outlet that was frying out electronics and we found out that another electrician took a shortcut and accidentally upgraded a 120v to a 240v These guys fixed the issue by running a new line and detangling what the other electrician did, no issues after that!

the workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up before leaving. i will be using them again for other electrical projects and repairs

Joe answered my messages in a timely fashion. An appointment was made and he was right on time. The work was finished quickly and professionally. The job went well. He was personable, professional and he cleaned up after himself. The price was fair. I would certainly hire him again. In fact I asked him to give me an estimate on a job we will be doing later this winter.

Both jobs went great! They came on time, set up and finished each job on a timely manner. They were clean and neat and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend them and now consider them my electricians if and when I need one!

An electrician who identified himself as Joseph Cammarata, owner of JCDA Services, came to the house at the scheduled time. We were not at the house, and I gave him permission to enter and de-activated the alarm remotely. After 10 minutes Mr. Cammarata called to tell me that he believed the problem was that the outdoor outlet was GFCI. He advised that he had switched the outdoor GFCI outlet and replaced it with a non-GFCI outlet. The original problem with the den circuit breaker tripping was not addressed, and I brought in another electrician. The other electrician advised that all outdoor outlets at houses in Southampton, NY need to be GFCI as per building code. The other electrician switched the outdoor outlet back to a GFCI outlet in order to ensure that the house was safe and code compliant. The low rating for JCDA Services is not simply because of the mistake that he made in diagnosing the problem. I can forgive an electrician making an honest mistake. The problem is that Mr. Cammarata has been highly unprofessional and downright mean in his interactions with me and my family ever since his visit to the house. He has been personally harassing us. Some of Mr. Cammarata's cyber-bullying behavior has been conducted through social media accounts that appear to be affiliated with "[*** Link removed ***] (which appears to be his side business, although I am not sure). From the tone of some of the harassing and threatening comments and various text messages that he has sent over the past few months, it appears to us that Mr. Cammarata feels entitled to harass and cyber-bully someone over a business dispute. I respectfully disagree, and feel that a business dispute should be handled in a professional manner. Mr. Cammarata claims that Angies List never paid him any money for his service call, and that he is owed $125 for his visit and for replacing an outdoor protected GFCI outlet with an unprotected outlet. In fact, JCDA Services is owed nothing. We paid Angies List in advance for a full hour of electrical diagnosis work by JCDA Services. Mr. Cammarata spent approximately 30 minutes at the house. Not only did JCDA Services fail to properly diagnose or fix the electrical problem, but we ended up having to pay an electrician to re-install the GFCI outlet that Mr. Cammarata removed during the 30 minutes that he spent at the property. In summary, we would recommend that you avoid the drama and hire another electrician who conducts him or herself in a more professional manner.

The electrician was very courteous, did his work efficiently and even cleaned up after himself.

Elvin did a great job; prompt, very professional, cleaned up as he went along. Would hire him any time.

They encountered a problem with one of the transformers, which was showing 11 volts at the outlet but it would not light a working fixture, which they also verified. They came up with a workaround and rewired that location to a different transformer so the fixture could work.

They got to the bottom of it fast, very professional and effective

The guys were great. Really happy with work performed and really a pleasure to work with.
