A-1 Tank Removals & Installations

I needed to have an oil tank which was buried out in the front yard, filled and abandoned. I contacted quite a few companies and wasn’t happy with their open ended proposals and long list of add on costs. One company wanted over $900 just to locate the tank! Finally found A-1 Tank Removal Co. Joe, the owner was fantastic. The price was the price with no added costs. He contacted the County and did all the paperwork with regard to the abandonment, He was on site to do the work and the job went perfectly. And by the way, he also found the tank within 5 minutes. A-1 installed a Roth Oil Tank in my home yesterday. A tough job, getting the old tank out of the basement, getting the new tank into the basement, running new pipes under an extension, draining and re-filling the oil from the old tank, etc. All phases went great! Joe and his son did a really great job! Much appreciated!

I used Joe from A1 to remove an old oil tank and install a new Roth tank. I wanted to use a local small business rather than use a larger company. I did not regret my decision. They did an awesome job and their quote was slightly cheaper than a couple of other companies I looked at. I highly recommend them if you are looking to support a small business owner.

Excellent. Nice clean job and I'm very happy overall. If I had to come up with one thing they could improve on it would be communication. I was promised a confirmation call the night before which I did not receive. However, they showed up as promised and did a beautiful job!

They came the next day and checked the sewer with the camera and showed me the roots. Gave me pricing for the initial work and cleaned out the roots and repaired the sewer line. Additional work was needed and they gave me the cost and did the work the same day. Cleaned up after.

My oil tank was destroyed after super storm Sandy. A-1 tank removal and intallation was aware of the urgency of restoring heating to damaged homes. I called the owner and he came by quickly and gave me an estimate. The estimate was fair and the work was done professionally and clean two days later. I will use again.
