Description of Work: They responded very quickly and arrived on time to clean my chimney. I was especially pleased that they gave me a discount because I lived nearby. I was very satisfied with the cost of the service. I don't know how well they cleaned the chimney, since I can't see that work, but they seemed competent (and friendly). They did leave some tar on the glass window of the wood stove insert. My doubt about the quality of the service arose after agreeing on the spot to seal the concrete of my chimney as a precautionary measure. and when all was said and done, this cost seemed far out of proportion to the chimney cleaning. I regret not taking the opportunity to see the actual problem before agreeing to its remedy, but I was not eager to climb a tall ladder to do that, nor was the offer made. Next time, I will ask for a photo of the problem if I can't access it directly. I felt like I may have been taken advantage of and wish I would have made a different choice in the matter, or asked a friend to seal it, because t seemed like an incredibly simple and quick task.

He was recommended by the local chimney supply store, and promptly returned our phone call to schedule a time to come out and give us an estimate. After reviewing our situation, he offered us several possible options. He was extremely polite, always kept the work site clean, and kept us up to date on his progress. We wish all contractors were as conscientious.
Description of Work: We had our chimney repointed and the chimney crown was rebuilt.
