+ -1 moreVirgil Farlow from Alpha Energy provided eStar evaluation services for a new house I built. He made several trips out during the building process to check on progress and give advice and guidance. With Mr Farlow's assistance, the house earned a five star plus eStar rating and netted the maximum NYSERDA incentive. As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and you can't get a better result than this one. The energy savings the house will net over the next few decades will benefit both myself and the planet.
Description of Work: EStar evaluation of newly constructed house. Visited as house was constructed to provide advice and guidance for energy star requirements, and ways to make the house more energy efficient. Made ongoing checks of completed systems. Conducted evaluation including blower door test, ventilation and heating system inspections and energy use assessments.
