MCE has done several house projects for me over the past few years. Mitch took on and completed my whole-house siding project (that had been abandoned by the first contractor we hired). He got right on the project and had it complete before winter set in. The house still looks as beautiful as it did the day it was finished. I also hired them to complete a floor refinishing/stair remodel project. The project also included as electrical work, sheetrock, and paint. Mitch and his crew did an exemplary job and dealt with several unexpected add-ons without issue. I highly recommend MCE Construction!

Mitchell and the team were true professionals throughout the home repair project. It is a home built in 1800's managed and maintained primarily by volunteers, so there were many opportunities for error. Mitchell and the team were rock solid, courteous, and knowledgeable. From the initial walkthrough and estimate to quoting additional repairs, to updating us on progress, communication was clear and helpful. We always knew what the charge would be and the alternate options. The work the team did was above expectations. We will definitely call MCE Construction in the future for any of our construction, needs. Project Included but was not limited to: Reconstruction of a bathroom ceiling Electrical Repair of a sunroom ceiling and flat roof Repair of Kitchen Ceiling Painting and Caulking Replace windows and casing relevel garage floor rebuild 2 story exterior walkway and garage roof Repair garage structural damage

Excellent job, returned a couple of times for touch-up. Sealed the entire work area with floor to ceiling plastic and protected my newly refinished floors with heavy cardboard. Cleaned up after finishing each day. Highly recommended.

Mitch is dedicated to quality work. He was hired in 2022 to fix ruined ceiling due to a leaking roof. The roofers took the darn sky lights out which had caused all the trouble. His team did a great job putting the room back in livable condition. Winter of 2023 hired MCE to give me a new kitchen counter and sink. Again did a great job. When Mitch gives an estimate he also honestly tells you how long it will be to get to you but with his workmanship I have no problem waiting.

Mitch was very helpful, for the most part kept me informed of his work schedule and when it came down to the end, he even came over on the weekend to finish up the project. Since he had a full schedule the following week. He made an appointment once the work was complete to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.

I had a problem with squirrels getting in through an eve. One got into the house and I called Mitch and he was out the next day to quote and the following day and repaired it. Very nice and was quick to respond! Thank you!

They were very thoughtful of our needs.they were prompted in getting the job done. The price quoted was what we paid. They even did some extra work. We would recommend them.

Everything about Mitch and his employees was extremely timely, well communicated about and friendly while the process was being completed. The work itself was beyond professional and beautiful. Everybody who comes into my White House has a â wow â reaction to the work that Mitch completed. I will only be hiring him for everything around my home from small jobs to big jobs from here on out. I found the guy who is absolutely professional and diligent and detail oriented about working in my home. He treats your home as if it is his own that he is working on. His own home. Also, he showed up every day and stayed all day unlike so many other contractors who come and go and leave the job hanging as a result for much too long. Cannot continue to say enough good things about this company.

We had drywall installed and repaired. This business is well run. The owner Mitchell VanFleet has excellent communication skills. These skills were demonstrated in the interation with us and with his crew. He was reliable, began the work quickly and kept on a tight schedule. Clean up was good. We happily recommend Mitchell for general contracting work and we will call him for future jobs and much more than just drywall.

Mitchell works hard and is very consistent in the manner in which he works...I've recently worked with others however I found Mitch to be the one I'd choose to rehire again in the near future... And will be... ?

He completed our siding project after a first contractor dropped the ball. Did a great job. Showed up when he said he would, and worked long days through nasty weather to get the house done. Will be calling again for the next project down the road.

Hired MCE Construction to redo my bathroom. The job took 6 weeks longer and $2,800 (all labor) more then what Mitch quoted, he did not pull permits for electrical or plumping (for obvious reasons), paid him a professional fee and did not get professional quality work. Mitchs worked caused water damage/ fire hazard. Mitch wanted additional charges and fees to repair his mistakes. Needed to get another contractor to fix and do the work properly. Went to court, the judge ruled in my favor and even awarded me a settlement, Mitch even admitted to have wrong doings in court in front of the judge. Have not received any compensation from Mitch since March. Classic reason why contractors have a bad reputation and Mitch

This contractor said when he would start and did- stayed on a timeline that was agreed upon

He did the job correctly except for not doing the frosted shower doors and he was not able to fix any electrical, shower leaking, he didn't care anymore. I just feel that is unfear and unprofessional, I don't even want to come back, I just want the reimbursement.

He was a very nice guy to start with and during the work. He was supposed to be done by Friday, had to come back Saturday said, and would be done by noon. Did not get done until 8:00 pm. I was happy he was done, it was late. When checking it out, I missed he put clear glass and I asked and paid for frosted glass shower doors. Job was completed at the end of June. We had put a sheet over the doors to paint the rest of the bathroom and cabinets, so it was about 5 days later. I texted and emailed letting him know. To this day he still has not come to change it out. Plus the showerhead is leaking and the faucet is lose, again two months later, he still has not come to fix it.
