Here at Mason and Grant Air Handling, we strive for excellence in our work. Starting back in the late 1800's to the present day, we have been doing quality work for our customers to ensure that they can live and work in a comfortable environment. We aim to impress you with a true understanding of the task at hand. We like to handle each job as if we were doing it to our own home and then perfecting it to exceed your expectations.

Services we offer

We do furnaces, air conditioning, water heaters, boilers, sheet metal fabrications, and everything else in between. We do both installation and service.

Description of Work: They came when the were supposed to and did a great job. They are always professional and do quality work. They charge $80/hour which is about normal. The furnace wasn't getting any water and needed to be cleaned, flushed and it needed a new expansion tank.

This is a family owned company, not a franchise. They are very easy and comfortable to deal with. You never feel pressured to do anything. I got to know some of the people on a first name basis, and still see them around the community. I would feel comfortable in recommending them to anyone.
Description of Work: I originally called them to service my furnace. They did the best job the could and communicated their efforts very well. Eventually we came to the conclusion that the furnace was not repairable and had to be replaced. The unit was over 25 years old and a critical part was just not available anymore. They then inspected my home to determine the size of furnace I needed and then quoted me furnaces of different efficiences and price ranges. The furnace I picked was installed in a single day.

Went fine. Responsive to same day service call and didn't kill me pricewise for it.
Description of Work: Fixed up a longstanding problem with heat zones. Good diagnostic skills. Later repaired burned out circuit board, originally thought by all to be bad blower motor. Lots of labor but they did not charge hours for the install/removal of the blower motor which later proved unnecessary.

I forget the guy's name who came out, but he was definitely one of the owners. Older gentleman. He was extremely pleasant and professional. He talked with my dad (who was doing some bathroom renovations for us) for quite a while about the ins and outs of hot water heat. He was not pushy at all, in fact he recommended not to do some things we thought should be done. In the end we decided to go with a company who offered a higher effeciency boiler than Mason and Grant offered, but if I recall correctly the price for the lower effeciency boiler (85 or 90%) was just about the same as the other estimates we had. We chose Halco because they offered a 95% effecient boiler with an excellent warranty (but it was more expensive). If I had any other heating needs I would probably call these guys up first. Really liked the guy.
Description of Work: We had an estimate for replacing our boiler and some baseboard heater covers.
