Marty Gauger Drywall

Marty and his team did a fantastic job with installing drywall in our finished basement. Great communication, always on time, and the drywall/mudding work quality is excellent. I would recommend Marty to anyone looking to get a big drywall project done in their home.

He is a good drywaller, they are hard to find.

He covered an electrical outlet with sheetrock and I have to touch up and sand several spots where it is not smooth. Not worth what I paid him.

Marty and crew are good at installing drywall in timely matter. My only negative comment is did nothing to clean up drywall dust. I would recommend them to other potential customers looking for quick install of drywall. Thanks Marty.

Hard to find contractors who will come when they say they will, but this was a rare find! Marty came the same day I logged into Home Advisor. He gave us a "rough" estimate verbally, but we were in a pinch, needing to get the repairs made, so we were just grateful he could do the work in the time frame we needed. His estimate was double what another contractor gave us, but that contractor had not seen the area needing repair. He came each day at the same time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up. The ceiling was ready for primer and paint when ht said it would be. Nice men; very friendly.

Marty was very quick to respond. He gave me an estimate when he said, but he did forget a wall. Him and his team had great turnaround time for drywall. They did not always come when they said and did cake when I wasn’t expecting them. If you have a VERY clear expectation of what you need these guys are great. I had a few odd things and apparently didn’t explain exactly what I wanted. They are drywall guys and not contractors. I also expected the room to be cleaned up and ready to paint when I was done. It wasn’t. I had to spend a lot of time wiping down the walls and cleaning joint compound off the floor. Even a once over with a vacuum would have been nice. I do feel I got what I paid for and they did get back to me within days.

Excellent work. Very timely and extremely reasonable pricing. Trustworthy and honest. I would recommend Marty to anyone.

marty and his co-worker efficiently undid the terrible job done by a previous false contractor, and replaced it with a beautifully finished area. both he and his man were professional and friendly. i wouldn't hire anybody else should my old house have another drywall problem.
