I paid this guy $153 to look at my fireplace insert. He told me it wasn’t to code and needs to be replaced. charged tax on bill but I didn’t get anything unless an inspection is taxable? I believe the information I was given, but it was a really easy $153 for him.

Hired this company in September of 2018 to repair a gas leak in my fireplace and to make sure everything works properly. The service person was very polite. He was courteous. The problem was he did not show me that the fireplace was working before he left. He distracted me with issues in my other fireplace in my house. I should have forced him to show me that it was working before he left. When I called the company back they told me that it has to be a service call and yes they want to charge me again. Initially when I called they told me that it would be at the most $200 for the original repair. I was charged $350. I don't know much at all about gas but I think this company takes advantage of that. You want to protect your family and they want to make as much as they can off your fears. Called another company and they told me that they should have bled the gas lines to show that everything is working properly. The service person did not do that. Do not not use this company!!!!!

Very timely response and very pleasant. Have had a problem with gas fireplace turning on when heat is called for. Thought it was fixed, but problem persists, so repair man is coming back at no additional charge.
