He said he was going to be in the Bronx on a certain day & would piggyback the two appointments — until I told him where I lived. As soon as I mentioned Grand Concourse, he begged off because he said he hated coming up here because of traffic & difficulty parking. I told him I'd be happy to pay for a parking garage on the next block, but he saying, "No, no, I won't do the Concourse." Coming from Manhattan, I've never experienced this kind of "geographic discrimination" before. This is a very nice area. There's no excuse for that kind of behavior.

The tech painted over the drain on the bottom of the tub and left paper and tape over the entire bathroom without instructions. I called on Saturday, the website said they were open. I spoke with a man who told me they were closed. I tried to ask a question and he hung up. I called again and he assured me that they were closed and he was just a friend of the owner and knew nothing. He then stated to wait for the paint to dry and peel off the tape and paper. How do I know if it is dry? He said, wait a few days. I have had my tub reglazed 10 years ago and that company did not leave a mess, too bad they are not in business. Don't bother with this company. By the way, they offer a coupon to print off the web but they do not accept it. Bad business!

This is the second time I am using their service. Obviously, the first time went well and that's why I came back. Called Monday, they came on Wednesday. Price and service delivered as promised. He covered all fixtures in the bathroom and did a clean, neat job. I have one more tub to do and as soon as time permits, they will get another call from me. Excellent alternative to replacing the tub and MUCH cheaper and quicker. As long as you take care of the final product and don't treat your bathtub like the basement slop sink, it will look great for years.

It was easy to make an appointment and they showed up exactly ontime. One experienced worker (Jose) took his time and was carful to cover everything in the bathroom to avoid overspray. He stripped the tub of its old finish, then cleaned and reglazed to a brand new glossy white finish. The tub looks brand new and the price was significantly less than other estimates. He did a very neat job. I will call them back if this service is ever needed again.

I needed the old crumbling grout removed and replaced in my bathroom, and my cast iron bathtub was scratched and stained. I called Metro Refinishing and they were there the next day with a very reasonable estimate. They said the job could be done in one day, which sounded almost too good to be true. The day of the job they sent three guys, very friendly, but more importantly they banged out the job, removed all the grout, applied the fresh new grout beautifully, and finally they taped off the whole room and applied several coats of finish to the bathtub. The results were amazing, the bathroom looks brand new again and the bathtub looks as if I had just installed it, all without tearing out walls and driving my co-op neighbors crazy. I highly recommend this company, they are real pros and incredibly fast.

I was very pleased with everything about how the job was done, the worker arrived on time, meticulously covered every surface in the bathroom with paper and tape, vented the room, completely stripped the amatuer enamel job that had been done before I moved into my apartment. The bathtub looked like new after it was finished. Everything remains in the room for at least 24 hours, longer is better, but I didn't have any problem pulling all the paper out myself when I returned from the weekend. I wished I had done this years before rather than as I was getting ready to sell my apartment. By far the lowest price I found for this big messy job and it could not have been done better.
