Excellente!!!!, Job well done....Heard great things about Handy Dominick, though, Angie's List, and found he had top-grade ratings in all aspects. From his Wife Maria, who handle the administration part of their business to Dominick helper (Nicholas) and most important of all “hats off”…. Dominick. They all are a tremendous team that work very hard and well together. Selecting Handy Dominick, We Knew we were in good hands and found them to be all we expected, and more. Dominick, came personally to the jobsite. He was knowledgeable, professional, polite, and an experienced. Gave us choices, and pros & cons of each scenario. He gave me a price quote. No pressure of any kind. The crew members were “AMAZING” all polite, professional, skilled & experienced. He arrived on time, and cleaned up at the end of the day. Within the work event I did not once needed to mention to Dominick or Nicholas about the clean-up, this was very important to me, reason being I wanted to minimize the impact on my neighbors. Dominick who supervised the work made sure to spend sufficient time and effort at the end of the workday to clean up with care. They were excellent when it came down to minimize noise pollution, dust control, and construction debris. The end result was a beautiful job. Maria, “Dominick Wife”, Nicholas and Dominick prove there are still professionals out there. Job was done punctually with courtesy and professionalism. We were very pleased with the results! Total confidence, total satisfaction, and totally stress-free….Highly Recommended!! Our “New Door” appeal has increased dramatically. Even the neighbors were impressed with what a great job they did. I would definitely recommend Handy Dominick to others!

It didn't go yet because I am hoping to have an appointment on Saturday as soon as I rescind my bad remarks about Dominick, so that he will come as expected..

Dominick was absolutely fantastic. He is incredibly kind, professional, and did an amazing job. The price was great and he even finished early. Will never hire anyone else again.

Work was not started due to cancellation on contractor’s side. Overall, the entire planning phase of our supposed project was extremely unprofessional. As first time homeowners we wanted to compare prices/quotes, and came across Dom on Angie’s list with rave reviews. We provided him with a list of projects that at the time we wanted to consider; when he got back to us with the price he gave a total amount that was not initially itemized by each project. Upon our request for an itemized bill we could see that the prices were actually outrageously high for may of our small projects for our 725 sqft apartment. We eventually decided to settle on contracting Dom for two smaller projects including kitchen wall demo and door frame removal and installation. Unfortunately our co-op board approval process took longer than hoped for (not planned) however we received an overwhelming amount of calls and texts at ridiculously early or late hours of the day from Maria who oversee Dom’s project schedules, during these contacts she was often rude and pushy. We then unfortunately (not planned) ran into issues with the order and delivery of our doors and frames. When we informed Maria of our dilemma and our decision to hold off on the door project and solely focus on the wall demo, she became extremely rude on the phone stating that they refused to complete the work and untimely they pulled out of the project last minute basically “screwing” us and our timeline. She stated that our list went from a lot to nothing and that they would not complete the job. She then rudely proceeded to say that she “did not feel safe” with her husbands permit/license in our boards hands and accused us of trying to use her husband’s name and permits while others completed the work. I was completely shocked and appalled by her response and accusatory tone. Throughout the entire planning phase we had been nothing but communicative, honest, and cooperative with both Dom and Maria, we did not expect nor deserve such blatant discrimination and accusations. I will never again work with this family duo and would encourage many others to do the same. Very disappointed.

Dominick (Handy Dominick) and his partner were punctual, professional and efficient. They arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time, ready to work. The entire job took roughly about 5 hours from start to finish, although I had read the process (tiling + grouting) can take over 24 hours to complete. I would absolutely recommend Dominick for your next home project.

Landlords for more than 25 years worked with several contractors over the years, never found one like Dominick! HoLnest on time and do an excellent job. Painted the whole apartment, new bathroom, new kitchen, new floor.

I could not be more pleased with Dominick's work. In the space of a single day he performed an impressive variety and volume of tasks. He is a very low-key gentleman who obviously values hard work over hype. He worked by himself for twelve-hours delivering the highest level of quality. After he had given me his initial bid, I added a couple of items to the scope of work, which he took care of at no extra cost. I cannot recommend Dominick highly enough and plan to use him for all my future handyman needs.

Dominick took one look and immediately knew what the quickest and best solution was. He removed the door, shaved just a little off the bottom, reattached the hinge, and remounted the door. Total time about a half hour. And he made certain the door functioned properly before leaving. It turned out we needed to adjust the striker plate just a smidge for the latch bolt to engage properly. I'll certainly consider him for future projects.

It went very well. His work was thorough and very precise. He was very professional and did the work promptly without disturbing us. I would definitely hire him again.

Dominico is a first-class professional in every respect. He knew his work and carried it out very efficiently. I was very impressed. I should also add that he is a very warm and engaging person and great to work with. I would recommend him highly to anyone and plan to turn to him whenever I need any household repair work done.

Dominick was great. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled. He cemented under the tiles (subfloor) where the wood was soft and then consulted with me about the tile layout, giving his opinion when asked but also leaving room for whatever I wanted. After the new floor was laid out, the room looked shabby so I asked him to paint, which he obliged. I asked him to look at my non-rolling pocket door which he did and ingeniously fixed by repairing a broken part and reinforcing a part that was about to break (100 year old house) and now for the first time since I've moved in (15 years ago), the pocket door rolls out smoothly and easily -- a life changer. At one point there was a slight miscommunication regarding price. His wife worked with me to resolve the issue through the issuance of a credit for work to be performed next time (as Dominick and I had talked about doing additional work in the house). I will post another review at that time. Overall, a great experience and I am happy to have found Handy Dominick and highly recommend him.

Very happy with the final results. Dominick was professional, straight forward, timely, and very considerate in making the repairs as to not overly disturb me while working (I take a lot of conference calls at home). Reasonably priced. Will call again for future work.

Handy Dominick did a great job. Dominick and the gentleman that worked with him prepared the surfaces, primed and painted. They were neat, no stray paint spots anywhere, and they cleaned up all the areas where they worked. Dominick even repainted an area that he wasn't happy with before they left. They were professional, courteous and friendly. And Maria in the office is friendly and very helpful. I will definitely call Handy Dominick again soon.

My first introduction was with Maria, Dominick's wife. She promptly answered my inquiry for the repair of my wall and set up the appt within two days of my initial inquiry. Dominick arrived on time and was very personable. I showed him the work I needed done and he promptly went to work. He finished all the work quickly but so very professionally. He cleaned up the workspace perfectly. I am so happy with the quality of work and the professionalism of both Dominick and his wife and I will certainly be calling him again for any other work I may need. I highly recommend him to anyone. Just show him the problem and he will fix it!!!

Dominick was amazing! He really takes pride in his work and will not stop until it actually looks perfect. The closet doors he installed were not the exact size of the frames (my landlord ordered them) and I can't tell you how many times he cut and sanded them down until they fit ( I personally would have tossed them out the window and hung a curtain up. :)) He was super efficient and really takes pride in his work. Now that I found Dominick, I plan on doing several renovations and hiring him again to do each one. He's that good!

Dominick and his wife Maria were extremely helpful in what was needed for project and scheduling the work that needed to be done. Dominick was also very happy to go and pick up the doors and hardware we needed for the project, which we found extremely helpful. The work itself is excellent! We found the pricing extremely fair and Dominick always looking for us to be satisfied with his work. We would hire Dominick again in a minute !!!

Everything I expected! Dominic was worth the wait! He wasn’t available for more then a month as he’s in high demand I guess? He installed the lights carefully and again the mirror with no fuss or problem. He’s very polite, kind and professional. So much that I would like to work with him to renovate the rest of my home. I truly feel I can trust him which is hard to find in New York.
