Although the work was completed, and it came out nice. I would not hire this company again or recommend them due to their unethical business practice while billing. They added "extra work" and a 15% charge even after a contract was signed. Plus on top of everything you would think that Angis list would check that the people they recommend are licensed. This company is definitely not licensed in NYC or NYS.

Farenc and his team are the way to go! We are beyond grateful and satisfied with the way everything turned out. Right from the start they were all very professional. Funci painting did an excellent job painting our two bedroom apartment, including walls, ceiling, doors trim and closets. They are real professionals. They were great communicators and were flexible with the dates of the job when we had to delay the start date by a few days last minute. Our apartment looks great and I'd recommend them and would use them again if the need arose.

We had a wonderful experience with Funci Painting. Their estimate was accurate and detailed, Frank and his associates performed the work neatly and efficiently, and the results are excellent. This wasn’t a simple job; we had some ceiling damage from a previous water leak as well as a hole in one wall where we had replaced an air conditioner with a smaller unit. Now, you’d never know either problem had existed. I was especially impressed with the care they took to protect our furnishings and how conscientiously they cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Funci for any plaster or painting work you may have.

Frank and his team rebuilt a drywall ceiling onto very complicated structure. Frank's expertise stood out. They did a great job. There was a tight deadline and they stuck to it. Extremely professional and by the time they were done it was like nothing ever happened. Would definitely hire them again.

Frank and his brother Leslie of Funci Painting did outstanding work for me in my apartment last week. I had originally decided to go with another painter, found with Home Advisor/Angi, until Sofia from Funci Painting (also highly recommended by Angi) contacted me within 5 minutes of leaving the HomeAdvisor website, and convinced me to send Frank over that same day for an inspection and estimate. I was so impressed with Frank’s depth of knowledge and detailed plan to tackle my very serious ceiling damage (which existed in 3 rooms), that I quickly cancelled with the first painter and chose Funci Painting. Sofia did an excellent job of coordinating the work, and the entire job went smoothly and professionally over a period of about a week. Sofia was fantastic and answered any questions I had as the work proceeded. The finished ceilings, after multiple repairs and skimcoatings, and 2 coats of high-quality paint, are really amazing. You will be as impressed with the professionalism and friendly demeanors of the entire Funci painting team as I was.

Frank and team were excellent. He advised on the best paint selections and textures for our place and even removed a few unwanted built-ins.
