Description of Work: Jim priced home too high. It sat without any offers for 3 months until I called a meeting saying we needed to lower price of home and make some changes to the way we are doing things. Initial pictures were fuzzy and didn't represent our home well. We asked for retakes and they weren't done until about a month later. | |Because I was unsatisfied at the service I received I wanted out of the contract. Beware, controlling agent is Jim's Mother and she wouldn't let me out of contract either. | |Also, this office works off old fashioned principles of using sign and magazine advertisements - doesn't use any data bases etc to get Exactly the customers you want. |In my opinion, he doesn't have enough enthusiasm to sell a home. |He may be good as a buyers agent - but I was totally unhappy with him as a sellers agent!! I would NEVER consider using Jim or his family's agency again....nor would I recommend them. |

Description of Work: This was the worst professional relationship ever. He represented our house with poor quality pictures. When asked to change them - he said he thought they were fine. I felt like I had to run him - not him lead me thru a very difficult sale. He doesn't use modern ways of marketing - so he bought in a certain type of people who's intent was to undercut your asking price by a long shot. He priced the house way too high - causing us to lose lots of time. |When I asked to get out of the contract that was all in favor of him and not at all fair to me the consumer - I was denied by both Jim and his mother (the managing agent). Be careful, Amorelli is run by a mother and 2 sons. You have no recourse if something goes wrong. |I really felt badly giving him the sales commission - I felt he didn't earn it. He gave me so much aggrevation over the course of the sale of my home. |I would definitely NOT ever use Amorelli again.
