+ -1 moreMy computer would not load Windows, and my all of my husband's work for the new school year was on the hard drive (which we hadn't backed up in a year). After a frantic search, I called Gordon at On site and he was able to have a tech at my apartment at a time that was good for me, which that day, was 8:30pm at night. Of course, my hard drive booted up to Windows 10 minutes before the tech was due to arrive, but I had him come anyway and clean up my hard drive. I know just enough to be dangerous and there were programs I knew I didn't need but didn't know if it would be safe to delete them. Robert cleaned up my hard drive and start menu and it now boots up so much more quickly than before. He also gave me a good suggestion on what brand of external hard drive to buy in order to make backing up all our data easier. Robert was great; very skilled and patient. I will make sure to choose On site for my next computer.
Description of Work: Unused/unnecessary programs were removed and my start-up menu was cleaned out so my hard drive runs much more quickly. Recommendations were made as to which external hard drive would be useful for backing up my system.
