+ 0 moreWe met with Bernie at our home, reviewed our requirements and he prepared a very professional presentation. When we asked him who he might recommend as a contractor(s), he gave us a referral. We asked if there was anyone else...just that one. We called that firm. They came to the house. We talked. We came to learn that the contractor, which has a wonderful reputation, is the brother-in-law of Bernie. When we asked if they would work for us if we elected not to hire Bernie, they said they would and we never heard from them again. Bernie did follow-up in a professional manner, but had hired another architect.
Description of Work: Provided a plan estimate for architectural drawings for an addition to our home. Bernie is very experienced and knowledgeable; however, we thought his overall fees were more than we wanted to spend for the whole job as compared to other architects in the area.

Description of Work: Rearranged the whole 2nd flood including moving the bathroom. This was to a 7 x 15 bedroom to become a 10x 10 and still have a great bathroom.
