replacement windows, snow removal
 + 0 moreHe suggested installing 1 window as opposed to two smaller ones, which I didn't agree to. He charged me $75 for snow removal, and didn't complete the work to my satisfaction. The driveway was left so narrow, I had to dig myself out to get to work.
Description of Work: I contacted him for an estimate to replace two windows.

 + 6 moreChris was referred to us by friends of ours who had a lot of work done by him. The project got under way about a week later than originally predicted, which we didn't mind at all. He was kind enough to keep us informed and explained to us that this happens from time to time because he finishes a job completely before getting started on the next project as opposed to having multiple projects going all at one time. He was at the house every day by 8 am and worked till 6, leaving the house in such a way that I hardly knew anyone was in my house at the end of the day. His 2 guys are friendly and pleasant and I was comfortable with them in my house. The original time frame for the basement was 3 weeks, which went a little longer but I must say I am partly to blame since my husband and I added several things which Chris suggested would make our space nicer.
Description of Work: Chris originally came to our house to turn our basement (dungeon) into a beautiful space. He came with his 2 men and did more then we ever thought could be done. We had new windows installed, the exterior walls were all insulated, I now have a beautiful tiled laundry room, we had a small bathroom put in, a small office, several closets and a nice large area for the kids to play. The walls are sheetrock, as is the ceiling, also with high hats for lighting which are separated into different zones and all on dimmer switches. He did nice molding work throughout the basement along the floor and also installed a chair rail on Chris' suggestion, which really gave the room some charm. The lower half we painted one color and the upper half a different color which compliment each other and it really came out great. We were so happy with his work that we had him replace 8 more windows upstairs with Anderson windows because they were old windows which the previous home owner never replaced.
