Description of Work: Signed contract on April 1, did not install until 4/29. Job took two days instead of one. Did not send same crew back to install privacy slats. Sloppy job by this crew. One gate was miss measured and had to be installed on 5/7. Also repaired privacy slats at that time. Contract bill was also not calculated correctly by sales rep. Company did not notify until job was complete. On the plus side Diego and his crew that did the original work were knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. It was a big job and they worked till 7:00 P. M. trying to complete the work. Property was left clean and in good order and they took all debris away.

Description of Work: To start I must say the majority of the job was completed without problems and the fence is beautiful. Initially helpful. It has been three weeks since the job was completed and it still can't pass inspection. Phone calls have not been returned adding to my frustration. Problem one has been resolved. On the chain link portion of the fence supporting ties were spaced incorrectly and had to be redone across 90 feet of fencing. The gate on the chain link portion was installed with a push through latch although pool safety had been specified this has been corrected. Cement dumped on lawn borh Front and back remains present. The most problematic portion of the job remains unresolved. A custom gate set to be installed on the narrow portion between my neighbors fence and my house had the post set so far away from the fence that an adult ( me) can fit through. This is obviously not pool safe. Attempts to get this rectified have been unsuccessful to date. A foreman did come and inspect the job and reported to me rhat there was an incident with my neighbor during the installation that no one shared with me. My last phone call was made a week ago last Friday and I have yet to hear back from the company. Continuing the communication problems Fortunately partial payment was made via credit card. If I can not get this resolved today they will be my next contact

Description of Work: Man who came to give an estimate agreed to file for a permit for me. However, he told me that if I used an old survey, the Town of Hempstead would charge double. I called the Town and found that this this wasn't true. In fact, they laughed when I mentioned it. It is obvious that he was adding in an extra amount to charge for getting me the permit. I would have agreed to an added fee if he had been honest.I didn't hire him because if he would lie about one thing, he could lie about other things as well.

+ 0 moreThe 3 man team worked extremely hard under adverse conditions - freezing wind/temperatures, hard ground. It took them 2 full days to complete the job. I don't even remember seeing them take a lunch break! They cleaned up all the debris and hosed down my property. The fence is absolutely gorgeous and they are coming back to install my front porch in the spring.
Description of Work: They removed previous ceder fence and installed new vinyl fencing around property.

+ -1 moreFirst off, it took several calls even to get someone to make an appointment to get an estimate. Several calls were not returned. Estimate was done quickly and a quote was provided. When i called back to book the purchase I was quoted another price entirely from what I was given at the time of the estimate. Was told the estimator made an error with the calculation. The error increased the price by over $1000. Spoke to a manager who could at best lower it by 100-200 dollars. Needles to say I did not go forward with them after such an incident. Rather unprofessional and disappointing.

I was very happy with them. They cleaned up very well and were very good working around the trees that we wanted to protect. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

The price was at least $200 better than two other estimates and actually included an additional gate the other quotes didn't include. The sales man said we would have to wait at least week to get the fence installed, but when the scheduler called, she said they could start the next day, which was great with us. We had to get the front fence fixed because the dog kept getting out. The fence was installed in half day, but we had to wait another three days for the concrete in the gate poles to set. That wasn't a significant issue for us. The overall finished product is exactly what we wanted, and it really added a finishing touch to the rest of the house work we recently completed.

When I said I was looking for a simple ballpark estimate and would like to speak with someone, I was put on hold, and then the call was disconnected. The person called me back to apologize, and then said someone would call me back that day. A salesperson did call me 1 1/2 hours later. The estimate was a good price compared to others I got, but I was turned off by the initial contact, and so chose someone else.
Description of Work: No work performed. I just got an estimate.
