Good experience, fast quote and scheduling and paperwork went well. Would have liked more communication on timing for completion but wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Kyle and the crew were great! Job was from 8-630pm. Tree was a nasty and huge double pine tree. Moved all of our things out of the way and put back when done ! Made sure stumps were ground down very deeply. So our fence could be straightened and fixed. Very aware of their safety . Showed utmost respect for property. I would recommend ! Kyle and his crew worked professionally and expeditiously, having to contend with snow and freezing temperatures.While work was in progress Kyle was responsive to requests for changes to the agreement. The work was done over 3 1/2 days. the crew handled the equipment with skill.

The original evaluation meeting with Mr Kyle Trestick was excellent. He seems very knowledgeable and I was comfortable he could handle the job, and the risks with the wires being close to the tree. He quoted a price of 1400 for tree removal, plus 350 to grind the stump down below grade. We also agreed he would leave some large pieces and enough wood to equal a half-cord of firewood. Mr Trestick said he could do the job in two weeks, but I wanted more time to get other bids (I am a slow decision maker when it comes to this amount of money). I had other quotes of 1500 and 1400, but I decided to go with KT Tree Services anyway, because of my comfort with Mr Trestick, and the positive experience my parents had working with this company. When I contacted them again to arrange a date, I was hoping the job could happen two weeks later, when I had time scheduled off from work. They told me they would try for that window, but were dependent upon the availability of the crane. The target date came and went. I rate a "B" on responsiveness because I had to call to ask about the scheduling. The crane was again available about 10 days after our target window. I got a call on Monday morning, asking if they could do the work that Wednesday. My boss at work is considerate about time off, so I was able to make this happen on two days notice. Onsite, the entire KT Tree Service team was excellent. All were very friendly and professional. They laid down plywood on my lawn so the large crane truck would not leave damage. They arrived and began setting up around 10am. Cutting started around 11am, and was done by 1pm. Grinding the stump took only about 10 minutes, but I guess that's what you get when your custom machine costs 90K. Cleanup was done by 4pm. They did an excellent job overall. I am very happy with this service and I would recommend to all. I have no regrets over not going with a cheaper quoted price.

My mother had Kyle Trestick of KT Tree Services remove a very large pine tree from the back yard in January 2015. She was very happy with the service, and has recommended KT Tree Services to several neighbors, and now me. Original quoted price for tree removal and stump grinding was 1500. They waited until the winter slow season and got a discount to 1200 + tax, which was just shy of 1300 total.
