Interiors by Nanette

My house was devastated by the flood waters of Hurricane Sandy. My contractor rebuilt the structure, but I was at a loss as to where to start when it came to redecorating. I know what I like, but had no idea how to achieve the unformed ideas that were bouncing around in my mind. I hit the jackpot when I hired Nanette Baker to help me with the interior design. This woman is a magician. She makes suggestions, finds beautiful fabric, furniture and uses a computer program that integrates photos of my actual rooms with renditions of how each room would look with the new pieces she has in mind. This has been a godsend for someone like me who has trouble visualizing. Nanette also listened to me closely, taking note of my likes and dislikes, and was very respectful of my budget. She does most of the leg work herself, but also has an incredible network of talented professionals she works with. We started with a gorgeous rug she found for the t.v. room. We then built the whole room design around the style and colors of the rug. The room is now a masterpiece. People walk in, sit down and don?t want to leave. The t.v. room flowed into what I hoped to be an office. Nanette recommended Custom Closets Direct and this room is now the most amazing and functional 2 person home office. Our last challenge was the living room. From the window treatments (done by Barry at Silhouette Window Treatment) to the sleeper sofa, lamps, carpet, custom pillows and more, the r oom is now beyond gorgeous. I've spent the last few weeks showing off my new home to friends and family. They have all oohed and aahhed and are amazed at the transformation. We were not lucky to have been flooded, but we have been incredibly blessed tohave found Nanette. She is a true treasure.
