Greg showed up on time looked everything over and explained what he was going to do. He went right to work and was finished before I knew it. I hardly knew he was here. He was very courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone I know needing a locksmith.

Every contact I've had with Ye Ole Locksmith has been far and above what I'm used to experiencing with locksmiths! Our main contact has been with Dustin who came out and was able to re-key every lock that we told him about except 1 which he had to order a custom part for. To save us $ he showed us how to remove the current lock and then had me stop by their shop when the replacement came in to pick it up- piece of cake! We'd forgotten about a basement door and realized it a few weeks after his initial visit. Again, to minimize the cost to us they just worked us into their next service trip to the area to replace it. They are friendly, very easy and accomodating to work with and do great work. Now we have 1 key that works in all locks and it turns really easily. I was very comfortable with them in my home and visiting their shop. They get my highest recommendation and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

As indicated above, the service was provided a while ago. While specifics evade me now, I know that I was really impressed with the service. The date provided here is approximate.

I had called late in the day on Friday and the shop was just about closed, but we set up a time for them to meet my family member at the condo on Saturday - not considered overtime for Ye Ole Locksmith as it was for others I checked. Before they got there, the agent brought the rest of the keys that we should have received at closing, so all that was needed now was to rekey the locks. Ye Ole Locksmith arrived promptly, and in fact, called to say he would be a little late, but was only a few minutes late. He did a great job, offered advice on a couple security issues with the various locks, made extra copies, and was very nice and professional. He was quick, efficient, and I thought the cost was very reasonable, particularly since any other locksmith I could find would have charged double for the Saturday service call. I will definitely use them again, and I highly recommend them. I've added them to my favorites!

Extremely pleased. We have a house built in 1911 with nonstandard door handles. Their technician arrived -extremely professional prompt and surprisingly knowledgeable young man. He fixed several doors and handles that were sticking and giving us major problems, examined some handles that were broken and gave us a clear idea of how we or he could fix them. He did not charge us for his services that day (!!!) and I will absolutely be calling them back to install new handles on several doors.

The service was performed to my specifications.

Gentleman came out and managed after much finagling to get the door open. He then returned a week later with a replacement door knob. Door works great now, and I can get to my clothes! i can't tell you exact cost, as my dad gave this to me as a Christmas present, but he seemed pleased.

I would use this company again without any hesitation.

Their were appointments available very soon. John was great to work with on an estimate since I wasn't sure what was the best way to go about securing the premises. He was professional and courteous.

We were locked out and they were here within an hour of us calling them. They were very reasonable getting us back in our home. They were fast and affordable.

They have come to my house but I usually go there. I have never had a problem with a key not working because they are real locksmiths. Their prices are double other places that make keys. I have been using them for about 20 years now and I have never had any problems. They do commercial keys as well. They can even get into locked file cabinets.

The service guy could not have been nicer. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. Once he was done and loading up his truck, I thought to ask to have him make additional keys for us (I had already written the initial check, etc). He was more than willing to do so, which saved an additional trip to a big box store for me. I would definitely use them again.

We are new to the area and relied on Angie's List to help us locate a reputable locksmith. The locksmith arrived on time, was very friendly and re-keyed the locks on our new house. (punctual, responsible, professional, and friendly!). I could not ask for anything more!

I called two locksmiths and this company was able to respond in a better turn around time than the other company. They were great. I will use them again in the future.

We just bought a house that is over 100 years old, and front and back doors needed attention. Placed a call to Ye Ole Locksmith, got a quick service date, and the locksmith simply called to let me know when he'd arrive. I made sure to give him BOTH numbers so he could reach me on my cell phone. The back door got a new knob set, and the deadbolt was re-keyed to match it. The dead bolt on the front door was replaced, after the Locksmith tried to clean it up. The locksmith John was polite, professional, thorough, and concerned that I knew how to work all the new locks. The job was great, and even though I'd love a lower price (who doesn't?) the $216 for all the work was well worth it. Unfortunately, I think John and I got the old and new back door keys confused and I ended up with the old keys. I discovered this only when I was leaving later that evening. All the inside locks in the front were bolted, and I could only lock the doorknob of the back door. I called the next morning, and the shop sent out Dustin within a few hours. He made sure the keys did not work, got us into the house, and checked all the work done the day before. Everything was fine except for the key mix-up. Dustin was terrific. I'm not sure if he installed a newer deadbolt, but the knob and deadbolt were re-keyed and he gave me 4 upgraded keys. He made sure everything worked and I knew how to operate it, and then he left and there was NO CHARGE for this second visit. I did tip him for his time, and I was very pleased with the service. I would absolutely recommend Ye Ole Locksmith to anyone, and if the price is a bit higher, well, the service is exceptional and after all, you get what you pay for.

When the gentleman from the company arrived he proceeded to explain to us what was needed to fix our lock. He tried to just repair it but he was not satisfied and felt we would have problems with just a repair. He ended up replacing the lock on my front door and back door (I wanted both doors to have the same key), putting in a new doorknob and provided us with 7 new keys. He was at our home for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. He charged $118.80 with tax. I felt this was very reasonable in comparison to other locksmiths I had used in the past. I would use them again and would recommend them.

They were very responsive. He came back to try to help me resolve a problem with a difficult lock. I was very pleased with the service I received from them.

They got there on time and had all the work done in 30 mins.

Aside from some confusion about when the locksmith was supposed to arrive, the job went well, and was done neatly, quickly, and professionally. I appreciated that a member of the family that owns the business came out to my house to do the work. He explained my options very clearly, and offered me some useful solutions. I would definitely call them again.

They were very professional, very prompt and I really couldn't ask for a better experience from a locksmith. I would recommend them to others in need of a locksmith.
