Very well. After verifying that the circuit breaker was not at fault, Mike and Tara systematically traced the line with a sophisticated electronic line tracer and inspected every outlet and switch. This is a difficult task in a hundred year-old house that has been extensively remodeled. The fault was found to be in an outlet hidden behind a cabinet on the basement stairs. Outstanding! From initial phone call at 5:30PM to power restored took about four hours. The electricians arriving on this job were the right electricians for this job. I was not concerned about price because I expect to be reimbursed by NG, but I think that the price was reasonable considering that it was an emergency call on off hours, responsiveness, efficiency, and professionalism.

Smooth as silk. The electrician was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. He represented the company in a very professional manner.

He put on some outside lights for me.

They took it down and left a hole. I had to get it fixed. I should have done it myself. They are good but they are just expensive that's all. You have to pay attention to what it is that you want done, make sure you really need it done, and don't get carried away.

Ungerman were very responsive and had someone at my house in under 30 minutes and the job was done in under an hour. They also gave me a break on the cost of the emergency repair. They got up on the roof and installed a junction box so that everything was safe. I was very pleased with their responsiveness, courteousness, and efficiency. I will definitely be using them again!

They are a very long standing community business. I trust them for the work they do, I did not even get any other quotes to have the work done.

I called today after getting a quote from another day electrician that seemed really high. An electrician came out today and fixed the problem within an hour and it was almost a quarter of the price I was quoted by the other company. Both the woman I spoke to on the phone and the man who came and fixed my issue were nice and professional! I will definitely recommend Ungerman Electric and will call them whenever I have an electrical need.

Ungerman is fantastic, we have used on several occasions and they are fast, efficient, professional and know their business. Very reasonable pricing every time. Both the office staff and the service team are very friendly and helpful, and our issue was taken care of same day! I also love that they are a woman-owned business! Showed up on time, ready to go. Went straight to work and had the problem well in hand in minutes. I had been with out interior lighting in that room since prior to Halloween and realized it have even caused my out side light to fail. I was scared for the wee ones coming for candy so I borrowed a spot light from a neighbor to help them see. Not a fun evening I can tell you, as I set it up for their benefit but when I opened the door I could not see them. Anyway all went well, to my surprise and delight, just a loose wire. I imagined all kinds of terrible things that could be wrong, and in only one room and the outside light. The gentleman was gracious, patient, put you at ease and extremely confident. Me, basket case! I would recommend this company to friends and family, everyone! I will no doubt call them again if needed, without hesitation.

I used Ungerman Electric to have my main breaker replaced In my home. They came and performed the work quickly and the install looked nice. Would use again.

They came on time and ready to work. There were some glitches due to older construction and they just fixed with they needed to. They were very professional, courteous, stayed as long as they needed to to complete the job and (a biggie with me) they cleaned up after themselves. Before leaving they thanked us and asked us to call if we encountered any problem (which we didn't). I would definitely refer them.

mike came to my house on 5/9/15 to look at a small job. I asked for a rough estimate for the job which he gave me. I said fine, lets do it. He said he would get back to me with a quote Monday 5/11/15. I didn't hear from him Monday so I called around 4:30. He was out of the office. Didn't hear anything on Tuesday. Still no call by Wednesday afternoon so I called at 1:00. Got Mike on the phone. He told me he was working on numbers for me then and would call me shortly. Didn't hear from him the rest of Wednesday. Called him Thursday at 10:00. He gave me a price that was more than 5 times the "rough estimate." So basically I didn't get the price quote until Thursday that I was told I would get Monday and then only because I did all the calling and it was significantly higher than I was led to believe it would be. The final quote may be a fair quote. I'm not an electrician but if it is, I don't appreciate being given a lowball rough estimate and then stringing me along for almost a week to get a final quote. They won't be doing any work for me.

Allan at the company worked with me to schedule an appointment for the work. I wanted it done promptly but had medical a appointment which had to be kept. He told to check back with him to see if he could get someone here in enough time to be finished before 5:00 p.m. He did advise that if the problem required trips for parts, etc. it could go beyond 5:00. I called him after the medical appointment and he said he had someone who would come and do the work. Mike showed up mid-afternoon. I reviewed what I had fixed, and it was working, but unknown to me, a separate wire inside the box had broken. I had already replaced a circuit breaker thinking that it was faulty. I asked Mike for additional work while he was here. He found numerous problems due to age, etc. He replaced an electrical box, wired in an on-off switch to the wall, found some compromised ground problems, and in general, did as I asked and fixed things up to present day code. Although the parts came in a little higher than estimated, they were well worth it to have things done right, especially with wiring. The fact that Allan was able to work with me to get someone over here, and then get everything done for me before over-time kicked in was great. I used this company before and have been satisfied with their work, they have been prompt and in one instance when a cover plate of the wrong color was used, they promptly returned and replaced.

I've used them for a number of different things over time. One thing I like, is when I called; they were available and knew I was their customer. They came usually within the same day. They were reliable, showed up did job and left. The bill comes later from their office. They clean up after they're done.

The provider took out all the old receptacles and replaced them with brand new receptacles., this included . Two GFC s. A light dangling in the dining room was takien out and a new light fixture was installed. The dimmer to this light was replaced with a on and off switch. The installation of a four prong 15 amp receptacle for an electric stove was placed in the kitchen. This included new wiring. Also, i had lines and feeds running to the garage rendered inoperable. The electricity that powered the light in the sun house was summarily rendered inoperable. A box with electrical wiring that needed to be taken out because of the short circuit that burnt it out was

I was verbally given the estimate of $500.00 but billed for $1,000.00. My mistake was not being there to witness the actual work that they performed. They were supposed to call nationalgrid to reconnect and an inspector from the city had to come in and approve that. They finished too late for me to get my power turned on that day and the next day was a holiday, so I ended up going three days without power. They had claimed 24-hour service so I was really upset. The craftsmanship has held up three years later though.

.Great told him I was going to plug the refrigerator into the out let for the sump pump and they said NO - be right there, and he was. Very efficient, capable and understanding of my needs. Recommend them highly!

They weren't punctual. The person he sent out didn't seem knowledgeable. A friend of mine who is a licensed engineer basically had to supervise. We had difficulty getting in touch with them - Leaving messages & not getting calls back until the next day, etc.

They are very trustworthy, and very good. They come right away. I've never had a problem with them, always excellent. Neatly dressed, polite, and always on time. You never have to call them back.

I received their service through a contract I had with National Grid and as such it did not cost me anything. They were very prompt once I got in touch with them. They called me and came just about to the minute they said they would come. The man who came out was very professional, friendly and did a nice job. He checked everything and ended fixing the problem. He was very good and very neat. When he came in it was raining and as such he cleaned his feet on the mat before coming in which was nice. I did not have any problems with his quality of work. I would use them again in the future.
